As we begin this new spiritual journey together, let us take as our sure confidence that God is in our midst, knowing that to the degree that we open our hearts and our lives to God s Grace that equal grace, joy, hope, and abundance will pour forth. Let us truly begin again to be God s People in this place called All Saints, loving one another as God loves us, that we might manifest and reflect the light and love fully revealed in Christ. Added third worship service. Diocesan recognized model for transitioning a family-sized parish to a programmatic model. Christian formation and outreach flourishing. Children, youth, adult forum programs very successful, requiring new building. National Cathedral Certified D.O.C.C. (Disciples of Christ in Community) training site. County approval to build new facility on historic property in Administrator, Division of Maternal and Child Health, Anne Arundel County Department of Health, Annapolis, Maryland, 3/93 4/2000. Administrator of a public health care division comprising a staff of 500 professional, managerial, clerical, and service personnel with an annual budget of $14 million. Concurrently, served in clergy supply ministry for Diocese of Maryland, 6/97 4/2000. Rector, St. Paul's Church in Dedham, Massachusetts, 6/88-6/92. Rector of a large, affluent, historic parish. Attendance, revenues, and endowment doubled in four years. Outreach and educational ministries flourished. Focus on spiritual development. Rector, The Windsor School, Darnestown, Maryland, 7/85-6/88. Founding rector of college preparatory boarding school. Responsibilities included co-management and administration of a $4 million dollar building project, oversight and coordination of faculty, budget, recruitment, public relations, fund-raising, curriculum design, counseling, and chapel. Associate Rector, St. John's Church, Georgetown Parish, Washington, D.C., 7/83-7/85. Emphasized excellence in preaching and liturgy. Provided pastoral care for church following major crisis in the suspension of the former pastor. Emphasized mutual ministry with laity, pastoral preaching, lay participation in worship services, creative Christian education, and social outreach programs. Second-incharge on a four-person clergy team. Shared all preaching and worship with senior minister.
