The Australian Securities Investment Commission (ASIC) is the regulatory body for the Mortgage Broking Industry and their minimum requirement for entry into this industry is the Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking. The Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA) is one of the peak associations in the industry. The FBAA s minimum requirement for entry is this program, with the Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management also encouraged.
