PI also educates citizens about the failings of the criminal justice system and assists exonerees by connecting them with post-release social services. In addition to serving as a board member, I manage PI's social networking websites. Theory Group (Inside Out Prison Exchange), Ryan Correctional Facility, Detroit, MI "Outside" member and participant, and 2014-current The Theory Group is comprised of "inside" participants (incarcerated men) and "outside" participants who study and discuss scholarly literature about crime, justice, punishment, rehabilitation, and restorative justice. The group also develops educational events and programs, including conferences and workshops on restorative justice, to promote public discussion of these issues. AmeriCorps*VISTA, Tuba City, AZ (Navajo Nation) Regional Coordinator for the Center for Service-Learning Opportunities in Education, Organized workshops for educators and administrators interested in integrating service learning activities into the classroom and curriculum. Provided technical assistance to educators implementing service learning in the classroom. Provided small grants to educators to fund service learning activities in the classroom. Created a service learning resource library for the CSLOE regional office in Tuba City, AZ. Coordinated service learning activities for youth in conjunction with the Tuba City Community Center.
