1 When Installing Erdas Imagine: A.) Install the Intergraph License Administration Tool because this provides you with the license for the product so that it can actually run on your machine B.) Secondly, Install Erdas Foundation first because it is the foundation and the basis of the product. C.) Finally, Install Erdas Imagine which is the actual product. Continue scrolling for step-by-step instructions to install each layer of Erdas Imagine.

2 Intergraph License Administration Tool installation Instructions 1. Download the zip file License Tool onto your desktop. If you use Firefox, you can set it to open automatically. 2. Once the file has downloaded, open the folder (if you need to) and click on Setup.exe. The following window will open (you may have to allow the program to install).

3 3. Click on the + sign to expand the tree. Select Intergraph Licensing and then click on the Install link.

4 4. On the installation wizard select Next 5. Accept the license agreement and select Next

5 6. Leave the default program as shown in the following window and select Next Software Licensing Management 7. Select Install to start the installation process

6 8. Let the program install and click Finish 9. Once you the program is installed, open Intergraph License Administration from the Start Menu. Select the Client tab and then choose License Host ID 10. Leave this window open for now or write the Composite ID down someplace (yours will be different from the one shown). Don t worry if you see or don t see any other IDs as they are not used. 11. Click or browse to the following link

7 12. In the LAC field, enter the code you received from Software Licensing Management and select Continue spaces. If you haven t received a code yet, request one using the ERDAS LAC request form. 13. Under Generate Licenses, Click Activate

8 14. Check the nodelock 12_8 expiring 1 year box and then hit the Generate button above. 15. Leave the Ship to section blank and hit Next.

9 16. Choose the Add New Host button 17. On the new page that opens up, change the first box to Composite and then enter the Intergraph License Host ID.

10 18. Select the new Host and then click Generate to create a new license. Then Select Complete ***USE THIS STEP IF, AND ONLY IF, IT DISPLAYS THIS MESSAGE***: No activatable line items with any copies left are found. Please go to Advanced Search and search for any line items that have 0 copies left. If this occurs please go to the Manage Licenses tab to view the generated licenses. Select the box near nodelock and then click on Save to File. Once you have done this, close out of this screen then proceed to step 20.

11 19. Check the box next to Nodelock. Choose the Save to File box and save the file to your computer. Hit Complete to finish the process. 20. Open the Intergraph License Administrator program (from the Start Menu) and select Client. Then select Add Nodelocked License Source. Browse to the folder where you saved your license file from step 9 and select it. You will not actually see the license file since it is nodelocked. Your products should now run.

Download ERDAS Foundation you may have to install the Akamai downloader. 24. When the following window pop-ups; click on open (if these products fail to open, extract them to your desk top first, then open the product from there) 25. Double click on Set Up. In the new window, click on Supporting Software, ERDAS Foundation Then select Install.

13 26. Select Next. 27. Accept the License Agreement and then Next.

14 28. Click on Next 29. Select Install. 30. Wait until the software finish installing and then click Finish.

15 ERDAS IMAGINE Installation Instructions Software Licensing Management 31. Go to In the Product Family select ERDAS IMAGINE 33. Download ERDAS IMAGINE 2014 (select the proper bit version) you may have to install the Akamai downloader. 34. When the following window pop-ups; click on open 35. Double click on Set Up. In the new window, click on Supporting Software, ERDAS Foundation 2014 and then select Install.

16 36. Click Next 37. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement Then click Next

17 38. Leave the defaults unless you want to change them and then click Next. 39. Click Install. 40. Wait until the software finishes installing and then click Finish.

18 41. It will then run through some configuration tasks. When it reaches the File Association Manager, check the box next to File Associations, click Apply and then Close.
