PDMA invites applications from suitable candidates on contract-basis for the Project Implementation Unit under Flood Emergency Reconstruction & Resilience Project AND Disaster & Climate Resilience Improvement Project for the following posts on prescribed form which can be downloaded from 1. Project Director (1 post) (Age years) Pay Rs. MP-II (to be negotiated for pay fixation) for contract employee OR BS-20+Project allowance of Rs.80,000/- per month (in case of appointment by transfer) as per Finance Qualification: MBA / Masters in Social Sciences, GIS / Remote Sensing or related field from recognized university. Experience: Should have experience of more than 15 year of design, planning, operation, monitoring and management in the field of disaster Should have experience of computer software i.e. MS project, MS office etc. Should have worked at senior positions in foreign assisted projects Should have knowledge of latest engineering codes of practices. Should be fully conversant with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and resettlement issues relating to water sector projects and of donor s requirements in this regards. In case of selection of government officer serving with Federal/Provincial in BS-19/20, his appointment will be made by. 2. Deputy Project Director (1 post) (age years) Pay negotiable up to maximum of RS.200,000/- per month in case contract employee OR BS-18 / 19 + Project allowance per month (in case of appointment by Qualification: MBA / Masters in Social Sciences, GIS / Remote Sensing or related field from recognized university. Module Development and Facilitation/Master Trainer (1 Post) (age years) Pay Rs. 200,000/- per Qualification: Master degree in Social Sciences/Civil engineering or equivalent qualification Experience: Should have more than 7-10 year experience of training in relevant field Must have excellent command over computer skill (MS office etc.) Should have adequate knowledge of disaster risk reduction and disaster risk management terminologies. Should know the international best practices in the field of Disaster Management Should have adequate knowledge of provincial and district government setup 16. District Disaster Management Coordinator (5 Posts One for each district: Sialkot, Hafizabad, Jhang, Layyah, Muzaffargarh) (age years) Rs.150,000/- per month (in case of contract employee) or BS-18 + Project allowance of Rs.50,000/- per month (in case of appointment by transfer) as per Finance Qualification: MBA/MPA/MIT/MCS/Master in social sciences/civil Engineer or equivalent qualification Must have excellent command over computer skill (MS office etc.) Experience: Should have experience of about 4-7 year in the relevant field Should have adequate knowledge of multi-hazard vulnerability risk assessment and disaster risk reduction technique must have strong communications skills, be able to articulate solutions, and be comfortable participating on a team that may challenge those solutions. Skilled at active listening and capable of facilitating discussions. Able to take a variety of tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision. Should have adequate knowledge of provincial and district government setup Ability to accurately gather, analyse and interpret data, identify and define problems and make recommendations for resolution. Must be comfortable with rapidly changing and/or loosely defined requirements that are refined over time. Director (Admin) (1 post) (Age years) Pay Rs. 120,000/- per month (in case of contract employee) or BS-18 + Project allowance of Rs. 50,000/- per month (in case of appointment by Qualification: M.B.A, M.P.A from a recognized University/ Institute. Experience: Has related working experience of at least 7 year in a large reputed organization. Retired commissioned officer from armed forces shall be preferred. Should possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in operating MS office package independently. Has a pleasant personality and possess quality of troubleshooting the common problems generally faced in a fast tracked operating organization. Persons domiciled in the Punjab are eligible.. 6. IT Manager (1 post) (Age years) Pay Rs.175,000/- per month (in case of contract employee) or BS-19+ Project allowance of Rs.60,000/- per month (in case of appointment by transfer) as per Finance Department policy letter dated Qualification: A Master degree in Business Management (IT), Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or its equivalent. Assistant Director (Finance and Accounts) (1 Post) (age years) Pay Rs. 100,000/- per month (in case of contract employee) or BS-17 + Project allowance of Rs. 40,000/- per month (in case of appointment by transfer) Qualification: Masters in Banking & Finance or Masters in Commerce (M.Com) or Masters in Business Administration (Finance)/ACCA or Bachelor in Business Administration BBA (Finance). Experience: Should have minimum of 5 years of experience of Finance and accounts Must have minimum 5 year post qualification experience of preparing / maintaining of accounts in private / government / semi government organization. Knowledge of the Planning tool for damage and losses from Natural Hazards (HAZUS), Spatial Decision Support Systems (SDSS) is a strong asset; Fluency in spoken and written English is a must.
