1 Curriculum Vitae Enrico Fels, M.A. Biographical Details & Contact Telephone Telefax: Address: Center for Global Studies, Chair for International Relations, University of Bonn, Walter Flex St 3, Bonn, Germany Short Bio Enrico Fels is a research fellow and lecturer at the Center for Global Studies (CGS), University of Bonn. He holds a Bachelors degree from Ruhr-University Bochum and has a Masters degree from the Australian National University, where he also was a T.B. Millar Scholar in Strategic and Defence Studies. He was the Managing Assistant of the CGS between 2013 and Before joining CGS, Enrico worked as a Research Assistant for the Institute of International Relations at the Helmut Schmidt University/University of the Federal Armed Forces, Hamburg, as well as at the Chair of International Relations, Ruhr-University Bochum. He is an elected member of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Arts (University of Bonn) as well as the Faculty s Structural Commission and her Studies Commission. He is also the Managing Editor of the book series Global Power Shift Comparative Analysis and Perspectives ( Enrico is pursuing a PhD on middle power allegiance in Asia-Pacific amidst Sino-US competition (will be concluded in 2015). He is moreover regularly presenting at international conferences, publishes his research in books and articles and is frequently invited to give lectures. He leads the CGS research group on Security and Diplomacy and is co-editor to the book Power in the 21st Century. International Security and International Political Economy in a Changing World. Enrico s research interests and expertise include traditional and non-traditional security issues (esp. Europe, G20, Asia-Pacific, Central Asia), international political economy (part. effects of the GFC, currency and trade developments in and between Asia, Europe and North America) as well as the consequences of an emerging Asia to Europe (e.g. the rise of China, India and regional middle powers and European responses).
