3 Life Learning Credits You may earn university credit for prior experiential learning. Opportunities may include career and personal job-related activities, travel, community leadership, specialized training programs, and in some cases, successful completion of national certification exams. Test Credits Davenport awards credit for passing scores on the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), DSST (formerly known as DANTES), Advanced Placement and Credit by Exam programs. Many of these exams are offered on campus at Davenport University. Military Experience Credits Davenport, a Yellow Ribbon School, is a Servicemembers Opportunity College, a consortium of colleges and universities dedicated to helping service members and their families get college degrees. Davenport awards credit for non-traditional learning activities by evaluating military training and experience and recognizing standardized examination programs such as DSST and CLEP. Start Your Transfer Now 1. Contact an admissions representative at Provide unofficial transcripts of your credit hours for a preliminary evaluation. 3. Complete an application for admission and pay the application fee at davenport.edu/apply. 4. Request official transcripts from colleges you previously attended and mail to: Davenport University Registrar 6191 Kraft Ave SE Grand Rapids, Michigan Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. You may be eligible for a transfer scholarship up to $4,000 a year. 6. Once you meet admission requirements, you will be notified of your acceptance. 7.
