3 AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet and TV Customer Questions Approximately how long will it take the technician to install AT&T High Speed Internet U- verse Enabled Business Edition service? What CPE is used for the Gateway and what are the dimensions? Business Edition Service Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ Answer Equipment and Installation The average installation time is expected to be 1 to 3 hours for HSI only, 4 to 6 hours with HSI and TV. We want to ensure that everything is working properly so that you can use your new service immediately. 2Wire Model 2Wire 3800HGV-B is used. (Only provide model number if customer requests. See attachment for additional information.) Can AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Business Edition service be billed to a telephone number of my choice? I currently have your DSL service. Do I need to get a new CPE? What do I do with the old modem? What do I do with my STB if I have it disconnected? How many computers can the Gateway support? No, a separate bill will be generated for each installation. There is no way at this time to consolidate several installations on to one bill. AT&T U-verse will install a Wireless Gateway which will provide wireless networking at your business. Since new CPE is required, dispose of the old modem appropriately. Follow the steps for CPE returns outlined in Atlas. The STB will need to be taken to an authorized UPS store within 10 days of disconnecting it. Customer will need to provide BAN and order number to UPS agent. STBs not returned will incur a $150 charge. A maximum of 32 PC s can be supported through the Wireless Gateway. What is the difference between DSL and this new service? Is this faster than my cable internet? Competitive Comparisons AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Business Edition service is delivered differently through our fiber optic network than your current DSL service. AT&T High Speed Internet provides faster upload speeds of up to 1 Mbps or 1.5 Mbps compared with DSL. Wireless networking is included with no additional modem purchase, and you will receive our AT&T Wi-Fi service as well. AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Business Edition service is comparable if not better than cable's internet access. Plus, you can have several computers accessing the

4 internet at once (all wirelessly!) and get all the features that the AT&T Portal has to offer included. General Service Questions What will my first bill look like? The bill will be different for each customer. The first month's bill will be a full month of services plus a prorated amount from the date of install to the bill date. Will I be billed for my old DSL Depending on your telephone bill date and the date of the and my new service? If your account is reclassified to a status where pre-pay is no longer required, you could discontinue this arrangement. Yes, Static IP is now available for ordering to all U-verse HSI customers.
