4 Course Level s CIS 16 Introduction to Visual Basics: Students will build Visual Basic applications that a. use appropriate controls and command buttons in the interface. b. are designed and planned using project design and management tools including requirement documents, use definition documents, event planning documents, flowcharts and or pseudocode to illustrate the logical steps of the algorithms. c. use Visual Basic programming language to create code that implements the design for the necessary controls, events, methods, functions and procedures. d. are debugged and tested for syntax and run time errors. e. use a majority of the following statements and concepts: (1) Variables (procedure, form level, global), and constants. Using a BIOS software troubleshooting flowchart, they will be able to determine which BIOS process is causing the failure. #5 Working in teams, students will be able to create a virtual machine on a windows operating system, and install the prior release of the windows operating system in the virtual machine. They will install the operating system, service packs, video and audio drivers, and configure the virtual machine to share hardware resources, such as CD/DVD drives. They will install an audio program such as itunes and verify that the audio drivers work properly in the virtual machine.
