30 Integrated testbed T-Labs. Use Case 2: RCS-e offers integrated and standardised services like instant messaging, file transfer and rich call. Customer benefits No need for the customer to download or install any software on his mobile device, since the terminal manufacturers are expected to implement RCS-e functionality into their devices. All functions are built into the native address book of mobile devices. Service is not restricted to smartphones also feature phones will be able to benefit from RCS-e. No restrictions regarding specific operators or isolated platforms. Core features Instant Messaging text chat File transfer share files Rich Call share the moment LIVE LIVE one to one one to many Send and receive any type of file Sharing Picture / Video (from camera or gallery) during a call 30

Conclusions Testbeds and demonstrators are well suited for proof of concepts, performance measurements, field-trials, etc. visualisation of project ideas and results But demonstrator/testbed development requires many resources Testbed integration to gain synergy effects Re-use of hardware, sites, installations Re-use of user interfaces and applications Re-use of measurement tools T-Labs follows the concept of integrated testbeds and is open for cooperation 35
