6 Credit Risk Services - ECAI Certification ICAP Group has entered into an exceptionally significant strategic agreement with the worldwide leader in the provision of Credit Risk Services and Business Information, Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). Effective from 10th of September, under a long-term agreement, ICAP became the exclusive provider of D&B s services in Bulgaria, Greece and Romania supplying, amongst other things, information for companies from 220 countries ICAP Group is the only Greek company accepted by the European Central Bank as Rating Tool source for the purpose of the Euro system Credit Assessment Framework (July 2009). Moreover, it is recognised by the Bank of Greece (July 2008) as an External Credit Assessment Institution (ECAI) in regards to the New Regulatory Framework of Basel II Both the Bank of Greece and the European Central Bank, following a thorough examination of ICAP Group s methodologies and processes, recognized the ICAP Credit Ratings as objective and reliable tool, thus certifying the validity of ICAP Databank 6
