4 Chafea has the mandate for implementation and dissemination

5 Dissemination of the results of the Health programme at EU level (priority in the Annual Workplan 4.5.1) Aim to provide MS with workable tools and services for effective dissemination in the MS of the results of actions funded by the Health Programmes. These include conferences and workshops, and other appropriate means for effectively disseminating the results to different audiences. Responds to the recommendations of the ex-post final evaluation of the Public Health Programme ( ) and the mid-term evaluation of the Health Programme ( ).

6 Dissemination timeline CHAFEA uses the Framework contract to launch request for services during June 2015 aiming to support event from July 2015-July 2016 Target - present the Health Programme (HP) in: European conferences Workshops Organisation of HP booth and dissemination of printed materials on HP information (Programme itself or project leaflets, etc.)

11 NFP expression of interest - topics Referring to the NFP survey 2013, the top five themes were: 1. Chronic diseases (70%) 2. Cancer (63%) 3. Nutrition and healthy lifestyle (60%) 4. Health inequalities (43%) 5. Health ageing (40%) Also considered to be important by more than 30% of respondents are: 6. Patient safety (37%) 7. Quality of care (37%) 8. Communicable diseases prevention (33%)

13 Dissemination in national events Information booth at national and regional public health meetings Minimum audience of 100 persons Dissemination of information materials on the results of the Health Programme, HP brochures, gadgets, etc. Target audiences: academic and public health specialist CHAFEA contractor provides: a booth from the HP, transport of information materials, reproduction of gadgets, hostess, etc National organiser: identify the national/regional events, organise the booth reservation, promotion to national stakeholders, national press, staff, etc

14 Prioritisation exercise Criteria proposed to guide the prioritisation of the events 1. Health Programme priority ( ) and ( ), cover public health and health system topics 2. Existence of relevant results from past or on-going EU actions/projects to be disseminated 3. Geographic representation 4. Opportunity to build synergies between countries (several countries interested) 5. Avoid repetition of thematic topics, except if other countries involved

17 Dissemination mapping March 2015 Chafea launched an expression of interest to organise dissemination events and organise the Health Programme booth and present/hand out materials in planned event(s) or stand-alone conferences or workshops Results: 17 countries/31 (55%) replied by 21May countries decided not to support dissemination events 13 countries have proposed national, European and international events 14 countries provided requests for specific contributions(be, BG, HR, DK, EL, EE, IC, IT, LI, LV, NO, RO, RS, SI)
