And even you can buy and the services from people you haven t even seen before. For example, my programmer and graphic designers are from Plzeň. We are talking on Skype and using Google Docs. We have never seen each other, but the cooperation works and they have done a great job. I have a part-time assistant for the data entry for the website who lives in Přerov and she I have never seen her, but she is working and I reward her based on the results of her work. For the entrepreneur competition I was in I needed to do a video animation. And I said I don t know anything about video animation, but I went to a different website and I put there an ad asking for an animator and, of course, I got an animator who is based in Brno. I didn t go to Brno, but using Skype, Google Docs and everything, I had a video made just in time, in 48 hours when I needed. So, this is wonderful world of Internet and modern technology. You don t need to do everything yourself. There are so many people who are ready to help you with that. At fist, I thought I will be helping big companies with huge budgets and I will become millionaire in a few months. But it proved that it was tougher, tougher than I thought and the big companies didn t even want to talk to me. But when you start a website which provides something useful to the companies, the people will find you. So, instead of big companies, a lot of small companies wanted to talk to me about outdoor advertising and wanted to buy billboards from me. So, that s the way I started, in different way, with the small companies instead of big ones. In the big companies, the buyers are not the owners of the companies, so they are not the most interested in the company s profit and the prices, but they are more interested the benefits for themselves such as getting a free lunch, getting some kick-backs from the company or just saving time, just having a salesman do everything and give them whole package. So, they don t even want to decide themselves. So, that s why it s little bit harder to sell to the big companies and selling by a website is more efficient for the small companies yet.

Mám asistentku na částečný úvazek pro zadávání dat na webové stránky, která bydlí v Přerově. Nikdy jsem ji neviděl, ale pracuje a odměňuji ji na základě výsledků její práce. Pro jednu podnikatelskou soutěž jsem potřeboval video animaci. Řekl jsem si, že o video animaci nic nevím a tak jsem se podíval na jedny webové stránky a zadal jsem si tam inzerát, že hledám programátora a samozřejmě jsem získal animátora z Brna. Do Brna jsem nejel, ale použili jsme Skype, Google Docs, apod. nechal jsem si to video udělat a do 48 hodin bylo hotové. Takže to je ten skvělý svět Internetu a moderních technologií. Nemusíte dělat všechno sami. Je tolik lidí, kteří jsou připraveni vám s tím pomoct. Nejprve jsem si myslel, že budu pomáhat velkým firmám s velkým rozpočtem a že za pár měsíců budu milionář. Ale ukázalo se, že to bude těžší, než jsem myslel. Velké firmy se mnou ani nechtěly mluvit. Ale když provozujete webovou stránku s něčím užitečným pro firmy, lidi si vás najdou. Takže místo velkých firem se mnou chtěla mluvit o venkovní reklamě spousta malých, které ode mne kupovaly billboardy. Takže takto jsem začal. Jinak, s malými firmami místo velkých. Ve velkých firmách nejsou nákupčí majiteli firem, takže je zisk firmy a ceny zas tak nezajímají. Zajímají se ale o vlastní prospěch, jako oběd zdarma, požitky, které mohou od firmy dostat anebo jen o ušetření času, kdy obchodník za ně vše udělá a dá jim hotový balíček. Takže ani nechtějí sami rozhodovat. Takže proto je těžké prodávat velkým firmám a prodej přes internet se lépe hodí zatím pro menší firmy.
