Anti-freezing function: In "HEAT" mode, if in following status, indoor heat exchanger haven't achieve certain temperature, that indoor will not act, in order to prevent cool blowing. 6 Clean care CAUTION Turn power off pull out power plug bee cleaning. Or it may cause electric shock. Never sprinkle water on indoor outdoor cleaning because it can cause an electric shock. As show in right figure. Cleaning filters (Recommended once every three months) Note: If dust is much more around, filters should be cleaned many times. After taking off filter, don't touch fin of indoor, in order to avoid hurt your fingers. 6

7 Clean care 1 Take down filter At slot of surface panel to open an angle, pull filter downward take it out. (a) 2 Cleaning To clean dust adhering to filters, you can eir use a vacuum cleaner, or wash m with warm water ( water with neutral detergent should below 45 ). When filters are very dirty (such as oil stain), dry it in shade. NOTE: Never use water above 45 to wash, or it can cause demation or discoloration. When is started, or compressor is started or stopped during running or is stopped, sometimes you may hear hua-hua or di-di- noise. This is flowing sound of refrigerant or than fault. Sometimes a thin fog will flow out of outlet when is running under cooling mode. This might occur when indoor temperature humidity are high. This is because indoor is quickly cooled down. After a period of time, fog will disappear with decrease of indoor temperature humidity. You may hear a slight crack when is started or stopped. This is sound of friction caused by expansion of panel or or parts due to change of temperature. 8

9 Troubleshooting Phenomenon Troubleshooting The can not run Break off Has power been shut down? Dose power plug come loose from socket? Is circuit protection device tripped off or not? Is voltage higher or lower? (Tested by professionals) Is Timer ly used? Cooling(Heating) efficiency is not good. Is Temp. setting suitable? Were inlet outlet vents obstructed? Is re too much dusts accumulated obstructed filter? Are windows doors clod? Did Fan speed set at low speed? Is re any heat sources in room? Wireless remote control is not available The is interfered by abnormal or frequent functions switchover occasionally controller cannot operate. At this time, you need to pull out of plug, reinsert it. Is it in its receiving range? Or obstructed? To check voltage in wireless remote control inside is charged, orwise to replace batteries. Wher wireless remote control is damaged. If water leakage in room If water leakage in outdoor Noise from indoor emitted. The humidity is on high side. Condensing water over flowed. The connection position of indoor drainage pipe is loosed. When is running in COOL mode, pipe connection of pipe would be condensed due to water cooled down. When is running in Auto Defrosting mode, ice thawed flowed out. When is running in HEAT mode, water adhered on heat exchanger dripped off. The sound of fan or compressor relay is switching on or off. When defrosting is started or stop running, it will sound. That is due to refrigerant flowed to reverse direction. 9

10 Troubleshooting Phenomenon Indoor cannot deliver Moisture on outlet vent Troubleshooting In HEAT mode, when temperature of indoor heat exchanger is very low, that will stop deliver in order to prevent cool. (Within 3min) In HEAT mode, when outdoor temperature is low or high humidity, re are much frost be med on outdoor heat exchanger, that will automatically defrost, indoor stop blowing 3-12mins.During defrosting, re is water flowing out or vapor be produced. In dehumidifying mode, sometimes indoor fan will stop, in order to avoid condensing water be vaporized again, restrain temperature rising. If is running under high humidity a long time, moisture will be condensed on outlet grill drip off. Immediately stop all operations plug out, contact dealer in following situations. There is harsh sound during operation The terrible odors emitted during operation Water is leaking in room switch or protection switch often breaks Carelessy splash water or something into Stop running pull out of plug.
