1 Reference Number: IAR Response provided under: Freedom of Information Act 2000 Request and Response: Please can you send me the following contract information with regards to the organisation s telephone system maintenance contract (VOIP or PBX, other) for hardware and Software maintenance and support for the Fire and Rescue Service: The Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control telephone system is not managed by BT Cornwall Ltd. BT Cornwall Ltd. do provide telephony services to the rest of the Fire and Rescue Service but these are provided as part of the overall telephony service to the Council and we do not hold specific information relating to the Fire and Rescue Service element. The information below is therefore split into two sections the first section relates to the provision of telephony for the Fire and Rescue Service, excluding Fire Control. The second part relates solely to telephony provision for Fire Control. Telephony Provision for Fire and Rescue Service (excluding Fire Control) 1. Contract Type: Maintenance, Managed, Shared (If so please state orgs) Managed 2. Existing Supplier: If there is more than one supplier please split each contract up individually. The telephone systems are maintained under the managed services contract with BT Cornwall Ltd 3. Annual Average Spend: The annual average spend for this contract and please provide the average spend over the past 3 years for each provider Cornwall Council has entered into a ten year Strategic Partnership contract with BT, and our IT services are now provided by BT Cornwall Ltd. This financial year, the annual service charge for ICT is 8.03m. 4. Number of Users The Council as a whole has approximately 8000 extensions 5. Hardware Brand: The primary hardware brand of the organisation s telephone system. Mitel
