2 Our products are delivered within a single web application framework Concurrent COMMAND. The Concurrent COMMAND application lies at the heart of our integrated software suite. It provides a wide range of configuration, reporting and management capabilities through a modern, intuitive and powerful graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI is based on the latest web protocols and can be accessed from any internet-capable device. Concurrent COMMAND s capabilities include: Visual asset management for facilities and rack-mounted IT devices. Fully configurable dashboard with user-defined graphs, charts and dials. Historical graphs and scheduled reports. Multi-level thresholds, user-defined alerts & auditable event management. Static or dynamic grouping of devices (by type, owner, rack, current status). Programmable interface for defining key performance indicators. Open scripting capability that allows end-users to customise the product. Multi-user access control. Multi Level Dashboards Each dashboard screen is user defined with many widgets available. Monitor power by groups or department, overall power usage and PUE. Widgets are created from few or many metrics and displayed in a variety of formats view any piece of information displayed how you wish. Each user can create additional dashboard tabs for ease of management; these could be Power, Environment, IT and Applications for example. Interactive Rack View A fully rendered dynamic view of every rack and device. Metrics are overlaid on the racks and automatically highlight the racks and devices within the given parameters selected, such as temperature, power or CPU speeds.

3 Asset The Asset Control module provides you with visual asset management for keeping track of IT and facilities devices within the data centre. It enables you to maintain a centralised record of the equipment you are using and where this equipment is installed. A powerful visual interface allows you to manage your physical assets in an intuitive manner, and doubles as a means to monitor real-time information that is being collected from these devices. Key features include: An SQL database that holds common data such as make, type, manufacturer, size, weight, purchase date and depreciation period. User-defined fields that allow you to add bespoke asset information. Physical positioning of assets down to individual racks and rack units. Power chain management, which details which IT assets are connected to which Power Distribution Units. Overlay of real-time metrics for scalable device monitoring. Inspection and (re-)positioning of assets via point-and-click and drag-and-drop actions. Bulk import and export capability.

4 Environmental The Environmental module provides support for our proprietary low-cost sensors. These sensors can be daisy-chained together using standard ethernet cable, with up to 40 sensors for a single chain of up to 50m in length. This module focuses on monitoring and controlling environmental factors in your data centre. For example, resolving inefficient air conditioning systems and hotspots in your data centre can lead to substantial savings. Studies show that a 1 C increase in temperature can result in savings of 2-5%. Most data centres run 3-6 C below optimal conditions. Supported sensors currently include: 1-Wire Sensor Technology Temperature (accurate to +/- 0.5oC). Humidity (accurate to approximately +/- 2%) Air flow Pressure Luminosity Our sensors are designed to offer the capability to achieve best practice in the data centre without being cost prohibitive. These sensors have many benefits, including: Low cost Up to 10 times less than many alternatives. Ease of installation Uses standard ethernet cabling and can be installed anywhere No additional software required Fully integrated with Concurrent COMMAND Scalability Scale to many 1000 s if required.

5 Power The Power module adds capabilities for fine grain monitoring of power at the rack, server or IT device level. This module helps you to understand the total power used as well as overheads incurred by cooling and power losses. You may wish to compare this data to standard industry measures to benchmark your data centre. It also enables you to apportion operating costs to end-users, departments and customers. Additional capabilities include: Support for monitoring power from 3rd party rack PDUs and power clamps, including associated environmental sensors. Support for switching individual ports or banks on 3rd party PDUs. Power chain management, including mapping power usage to individual IT assets. With the intelligent power management features of the Concurrent COMMAND DCIM, you can easily display and report on any power metrics available. 6 Server The Server module enables the collection of IPMI metrics from BMC-enabled devices within the data centre as well as non-evasive metrics from SNMP-enabled devices such as servers, switches and rack mounted UPS systems. You can use this module to identify unused, underused, faulty or inefficient IT equipment. Average IT utilisation is less than 5% for a typical data centre, and less than 15% for fully virtualised data centres. An essential element of saving energy costs is efficient power management. This module enables you to switch off or cap the power used by servers when they are not in use. It allows for the acquisition of: Server health metrics, including fan status, voltages, CPU temperatures etc. Server inlet temperature sensors. Server power metrics. Power capping technologies, such as Intel Node Manager. Remote power control. With the concurrent COMMAND DCIM, much more information becomes available to empower the business to make informed decisions. Every asset in the data hall (if enabled on the device) can be interrogated, with important information being collected, including but not limited to: CPU usage Memory Storage Temperatures Very quickly, under utilized servers can be identified, faults are detected and areas of improvement can be highlighted. Often this can be used to identify virtualization candidates, and also demonstrate the business case for either sweating or replacing existing assets. For example, the difference in power draw for a new server of similar specification to a 3-year-old server could return a far quicker ROI than running the existing server for another 12 months. By working to highlight these areas substantial operational improvements are made both in management and cost. We often find that as many as 50% of the servers in a DC are only being utilized to 15% of their capability.

7 IT The IT module gathers information at the operating system and application level using standard protocols, such as SNMP and WMI. This module enables you to monitor peak and average IT utilisation. This information can be used to define IT efficiency metrics, such as virtualisation strategies. Usage statistics can be apportioned to end-users, departments and customers to drive best practice. It can also improve staff productivity by automating manual tasks, such as data collection and reporting. The IT module generates vital information to drive better procurement decisions relating to additional power, space, infrastructure or IT equipment, as well as investment decisions based on identified OPEX vs CAPEX costs. This module adds support for: Operating system metrics, such as CPU utilisation, disk and network I/O. Virtual machines and hypervisors. Application performance metrics, such as , database or web transactions. Application monitoring is an advanced feature that is truly unique to the concurrent COMMAND application. With this feature we can combine metrics we already gather, such as power, and combine them with information from the application themselves. For example: Cost of sending a single Cost to run payroll Cost per transaction With this information a business can identify true overall costs, even factoring man-hours, support costs and licenses into the results.
