Job Skills/Requirements Performs professional work in identifying, appraising and interpreting communicative disorders of speech, voice and language. Administers audiometric screening evaluations; plans and provides remedial group and therapy programming as indicated. Coordinates the speech pathology services of subordinate staff members as directed. Administers speech, voice and language evaluations, hearing screenings, oral examinations monomeric readings, verbal intelligence tests, videotape interpretations and other special tests. Interpret tests results and makes recommendations, makes referrals to appropriate sources; prepares reports of test results. Gives special attention to the diagnosis and related therapy for clients with cleft lip and palate and cerebral palsy conditions and hearing disorders. Prepare and maintain operational records such as client evaluations, re-evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes and other operational records and reports.
