Simple Installation for Retrofit or New Home Construction Whether you have a new or existing home, the DMC series is a sound fit offering many features for both the homeowner and the installer. Homeowners with intercom systems already in place can upgrade to Linear s DMC3-4 Music/Communication Retrofit System. Because it connects to existing wires, this full-function intercom and music distribution system can easily replace most older 3-wire or 4-wire M&S Systems, NuTone, and many other intercoms, without the need to repair drywall. For new homes, Linear offers the DMC1 Music/Communication System. With the same sleek aesthetic as the DMC3-4, the DMC1 system s quick-connect CAT-5 wiring simplifies installation and improves performance. DMC1MM iplay ipod Dock - MP3 & CD Player The DMC1 iplay supports all digital music sources, including Apple ipod, iphone, MP3 players, smart phones and CD/MP3 disks. The iplay is an optional upgrade and requires the installation of the DMC1 or DMC3-4 master unit. DMC1RS Room Station The DMC1RS with remote scan and master volume control, has the ability to communicate with door speakers, other room stations as well as the master unit. Available in white, almond or black, the DMC1RS can activate door release mechanisms or a security system s panic alarm.
