24 RESEARCH BASED TEACHING: GENERATION D, FEBRUARY-MARCH 2014 TEACHING abandoned house 1st step: Cross section performed by students 2nd step: Horisontal intervention performed by students RESEARCH - effects of decay/ seasons - local interaction 3rd step: Horisontal intervention = controlled ruin. The demolition personel removes the intact half of the building and the controlled ruin remains.
