LeadMD was founded in 2009 by Justin Gray, who noticed that traditional marketing and brand budgets were shrinking at the same time software as a service (SaaS) was coming of age. Gray identified the opportunity to offer marketing services via the cloud, and launched LeadMD as a SaaS marketing organization that managed core marketing functions for businesses through on- demand solutions, consulting or both. Since its inception, LeadMD has helped its clients utilize their marketing automation and sales solutions in order to fully reap the rewards of these powerful tools. LeadMD is one of the only certified experts on both the Marketo and Salesforce platforms in the US. The company s knowledge of Marketo is, in fact, so deep that Marketo often asks LeadMD to assist its own clients that want to better utilize their marketing automation investment. In January 2012 LeadMD acquired Marketing Engine, a CRM services company that specializes in Salesforce.com implementation. The acquisition has enabled LeadMD to expand upon their marketing- to- sales solution that includes process development, integration of CRM and marketing automation software, demand generation best practices, and content development by providing two branded channels of services covering both sales and marketing. Company Management: Justin Gray, CEO & Chief Marketing Evangelist A seasoned marketer, Mr. Gray founded Lead MD in 2009 after noticing grassroots marketing dollars shrinking and traditional branding efforts being strewn aside in favor of a true Conversational Marketing approach. His vision for the company is to transform traditional grassroots marketing efforts through the use of cloud based marketing solutions. Realizing the potential for growth in this space and the willingness other corporations had to join the SaaS revolution; Mr. Gray began to strategize the formation of a true Marketing- as- a- Service corporation that would specialize in outsourcing the core functions of a marketing department either through on- demand solutions, consulting or both. Since that time Mr. Gray has emerged as strong voice for Marketing Automation and Conversation Marketing through both industry publications and his Blog, The Marketing Evangelist. Prior to launching LeadMD, Mr. Gray spent 12 years helping companies of varying size overhaul and optimize their marketing and sales departments. Most recently he was CEO for MaaS Impact, a marketing automation start- up. Under his direction, the company grew to become a respected player in the space and increased revenues by more than 400 percent. Mr. Gray also held the position of vice president of sales and marketing at BillingTree where he grew the on- demand payments company from less than $1M in annual revenue to a $64M entity, and the leading solution provider in its space. Mr. Gray graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelors degree in Marketing and Business Administration. Dave Lee, Vice President of Sales & Marketing Dave Lee is a veteran of web- based software (SaaS) and marketing automation technologies. In his role as LeadMD s sales and marketing leader, Mr. Lee is responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing and sales, focusing strongly on building the bridge between easy implementation and strong client relationships. 4 Before joining Lead MD, Mr. Lee spent six years as the marketing and sales leader of three- time Inc. 500 company, Infusionsoft. Mr. Lee has a Bachelors degree in Political Science and an MBA from Brigham Young University. In addition to working with experts such as Dan Kennedy, Bill Glazer, Perry Marshall, Michael Gerber, John Assaraf, Bob Proctor, Ed O Keefe, Rich Schefren, Alex Mandossian and many others, Dave is an author of Master of the Moments and was one of four finalists for Small Business Marketer of the Year in Ryan Macias, Vice President of Marketing Services Ryan Macias has been helping companies with business process management, electronic content management, application integration, data capture and marketing workflow for the majority of his career. In his role as vice president of marketing services, Mr. Macias brings passion to process automation and is a master at designing repeatable, yet intimate, marketing campaigns for LeadMD customers. Prior to joining LeadMD, Mr. Macias was a marketing process consultant at West Medical Management, where he was responsible for the overall process flow of information and integration of systems. A technical marketer, he is a heads down leader who works to make it happen with his team. Macias is also an experienced CRM and web consultant who knows how to take a strategy and execute daily to get results. Mr. Macias attended the university of Arizona and Phoenix College where he studied Marketing and Business. When Macias is not working he is normally at his remote office deep in the backwoods of Ahwatukee, AZ. A family man, Macias has two sons, Nathaniel and Matthew. Tyeson Cluff, Vice President of Marketing Operations Tyeson Cluff has been focused on bridging the sales and marketing alignment gap since 2003 when he first led a Salesforce.com implementation with the challenge of achieving ROI on marketing leads passed to sales. Since, Cluff has earned his Salesforce.com Certified Administrator and Certified Consultant certifications. In 2008 Mr. Cluff founded Marketing Engine, a Salesforce.com Consulting Partner that has helped many mid- size and enterprise companies achieve successful Salesforce.com implementations. Prior to launching Marketing Engine, Cluff headed up marketing for a leading IT services firm, Ensynch, since acquired by Insight, over a 4- year growth period that garnered three Inc. 500 award designations. Here he optimized Ensynch's sales and marketing investment by building a market- leading brand, with integrated CRM and marketing automation, executing winning campaigns and events, and managing public relations and community outreach. This effort resulted in multiple awards for marketing excellence from Microsoft, including being awarded Microsoft Marketing Partner of the Year, West Region for Before joining Ensynch in 2004, Mr. Cluff served as director of marketing for Integrated Information Systems (IIS) where he built the sales and marketing process between an inside sales team and a national outside sales team. Prior to IIS, Cluff led services marketing consulting projects for IBM Global Services and Avnet - Electronics Marketing. Mr. Cluff is active in the community and charities including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (AZ's Finest Honoree 2007), the American Liver Foundation, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. 5 Mr. Cluff has a Bachelor s Degree in Business from Utah State University and an MBA from ASU's W.P. Carey School of Business, specializing in services marketing.
