Value can be: heightened quality, improved economy, and increased security in all domains. Implementation is our Buzz Word in Innovation. Why invest so much energy in the creation of new ideas, when so many good ideas already exist but are never implemented? 4, Kjeld Lisby, Aalborg, Marts 2012

9 How do we work? Receiving the idea Screening and evaluation Qualification Continuation Novelty and patentability search Technical review Market research Assessment of development cost and PR-value Identification of business partners Need for competence input Preparation of business case Sale Receiving the idea Screening and evaluation Qualification Continuation SERVICE Novelty and patentability search Market research Assessment of development cost and PRvalue, cost/benefit Need for competence input Completion of pilot project Implementation Identification of sponsors (project owner) Preparation of project description Evaluation and possible adjustment 9, Kjeld Lisby, Aalborg, Marts 2012
10 The basic model (one of the parameters for success) First we identify an unmet need in the hospital sector (+). Then we coordinate with the proposers and examine whether we are addressing the real need. Subsequently, the need becomes a task which we seek to solve in the best way possible (the idea proposer is still in the loop user acceptance). We include industrial solutions if needed. We support the implementation of the solution, including the distribution to multiple areas if relevant. Aalborg Hospital Ideas Clinic is basically a High Performance Team that seeks the most simple path to the goal: ie. solution to recognised needs. 10, Kjeld Lisby, Aalborg, Marts 2012
11 Where are we going New programmes with the University Hospital, incl. new methodologies. (Change of Culture) Innovation and Clinical Research (New Initiative) Spin-out to all hospitals in region (Started) and migration to Open Innovation.
