What actions will you take to ensure that this strategy meets its objective by May? (Please be thorough in your answer - provide at least 3 sentences) *This strategy is currently working because we review Cscope assessment results and target the areas that show weaknesses. *Teachers have data that is aligned with curriculum standards and has the same depth as STAAR. *It helps teachers stay consistent with horizontal alignment. Continue to provide planning time to grade levels to ensure collaborative instruction amongst grade levels Planning is currently working since it allows the grade levels to plan ahead. Each grade level shares information on how to reset and do hands on activities. It allows the teachers to have the necessary time to plan away from the classroom to focus on what needs to be taught. Administer and analyze fall and spring benchmarks Benchmarks allow us to see strengths and weaknesses so it is currently Working. It helps teachers adjust instructional material to meet student needs. It also allows to see the general picture (across the grade level).

2 Provide Accelerated instruction and instructional materials for students identifed through I-Station reading program "Tier II" Istation is working because it targets the area(s) of need for each struggling student. It provides information for grouping students for Intervention. It is additional data to share with parents and RTI committee. Provide tutoring for Math, Science, Reading/LA afterschool, Saturdays, Intersession, and Super School for at risk students It is working because it targets and reinforces the areas of weakness according to student needs. Implement a common intervention time - Super School It is working but it is subject to change as needed according to the needs of students.

3 Continue Implementation of research based and data driven curriculum in the following areas with assisance of Instructional Coaches to support teachers and instructional curriculum: Thinking Maps WFTB ISNs Technology Inclusion PSB SIOP Kilgo ScanTek/AIMs Science Lab Forde Ferrier Power Planning Library resources Renaissance Learning Mentoring Minds Kamico Lone Star Learning Mountain Math Motivation Math and Reading Being a Writer DRA Istation Instructional resources to address: (Ensure all studentsâ needs are being met with differentiated instruction) â CSCOPE and other aligned resources (examples, Ignite, ETA Cuisenaire, STEMscopes) â Scholastic leveled readers and other guided reading/balanced literacy resources â E-readers: science/social studies with assistance of Instructional Coaches and leadership staff to support teachers and instructional curriculum ISNs, Science Lab, Power Planning, Renaissance Learning, Kamico, Lone Star and Istation are in place and being used successfully. Practice books are needed especially for Math-Motivation Math preferred- in order to monitor student data. Motivational Reading would be welcomed as well. Additional leveled readers will be purchased as some classrooms are lacking. TIAs are available to assist and support. Monitor failure rates every 3 weeks by holding Powerboost meetings Working. Consumables/Nonconsumables needed. Increase daily attendance in PreK-5 This is working as students receive rewards: Certificates, hot dog party, bikes, district prize, accolades. PK students an issue.

5 O'Shea Keleher will implement a GT project showcase Identify more GT students by submitting more nominees. Ms. Morrel presented GT identification at last faculty meeting. More students needed to showcase projects. Campus has question whether the GT test is too difficult to qualify. O'Shea Keleher will continue to improve LEP students scores in all content areas and provide interventions accordingly. Working. In grades 3-5, LEP students split up between 2 classrooms. This allows for more teacher and TIA intervention. Provide scientifically research based supplemental resources and materials for instruction and/or interventions in all the core curriculum areas such as Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies and Language Arts including special populations such as SpEd, 504, LEP, GT, At-risk and Dyslexia Istation and 504 interventions are succeding in assisting students. However, more interventions are being researched.

O'Shea Keleher will increase Partners in Education participation by inviting business partners to different school events such as Career Day, Terrific Kids, STAAR pep rally, etc. Working. The counselors and Parent Liaison have worked furiously to involve our parnters in fall festival, Christmas, attendance, antibullying, etc. O'Shea Keleher Elementary will promote and support active parent and community engagement through events and sessions to show an increase in the number of partners and parent volunteers during the school year. O'Shea Keleher Elementary will increase parent volunteer participation by providing incentives such as breakfast or lunch recognitions Working. Parents are participating in classes with the parent liaison, family literacy, family nights, mother/daughter conference, book fair, parent/teacher conferences, etc. O'Shea Keleher Elementary will promote and support active parent and community engagement through events and sessions to show an increase in the number of partners and parent volunteers during the school year. Parent Liasion will continue parent training sessions to include technology trainings, Family Frameworks, ESL classes, and will continue to send parents to conferences for opportunites for parent learning to encourage parents to attend trainings, Parent Liaison will provide refreshments and supplies to use during workshop Working.The parenting classes have been successful due to the rise of parents that participate. Parents are requesting different topics that will lead to academic improvement for their children. The parent liaison has worked hard to increase the number of programs on campus to increase volunteers. COP-Crusaders on Patrol, Girl Scouts, family nights, etc.
