This survey covers the following UK Standard Industrial Classification codes 2003 (SIC 2003): Financial Leasing Credit granting by non-deposit taking finance houses and specialist consumer credit grantors Factoring Other credit granting not elsewhere classified. There are around 450 businesses within these four SIC codes that are eligible for selection. This survey samples about 150 of them. All the largest businesses are covered and a sample of the smaller ones. The form of the Monitor follows a review. It is different in coverage and in the range of information it reports from its predecessor (SDQ7 up to Q3 2009). For more information on the review please refer to the note on Improvements to the Business Monitor SDQ7. Data are available in the previous format upon request.
