8 SAG: Aims and professional profile Social & Environmental challenges (e.g. environmental deterioration, global warming, management of (scarse) natural resources, eco-socio justice, growth vs prosperity, etc.) require fundamental changes in the way of conceptualizing and doing business and managing and governing organizations. There is a need to adopt an approach oriented to sustainable development (SD), that it is able to govern the global dimension of SD as well as provide possible locally-embedded solutions to these global concerns. There is a need to provide «managers, business analysts and other organizational actors» with the competencies (in terms of strategic, management and control knowledge and skills) to think, develop and implement solutions for sustainability issues in the day-to- day management of organizations.

9 SAG: Who is this program designed for? Managers (and entrepreneurs) in existing and/or new business that aim to integrate sustainability strategies into corporate planning and to manage, control and report sustainable performances. This includes managers of MNCs, SMEs, public organisations, NPOs, NGOs, etc. Professionals, consultants and business analysts who are interested in gaining knowledge and skills for supporting organizations to identify sustainable-sensitive areas and develop related solutions. Those who are interested in gaining skills and competences to operate as an expert in social responsible businesses, public offices, non-profit organisations and/or NGOs.

10 FAIP: Aims and professional profile Globalisation, the growth of multinational companies, the convergence of international accounting practices and the expansion of the European Union all contribute to the importance of an international focus in accounting education. Delocalization, internationalization and innovation are the dominant traits of the current market scenario. In turn, they create challenges that require solutions to move towards harmonization and boundary-crossing financial needs. These phenomena have an impact both on firms and their advisors. In such a context, this program aims to offer a complex of tools to think, develop and implement accounting, auditing and governance solutions for new, open and integrated business models. In this perspective, the program is characterised by an international focus on accounting, considering accounting needs in their financial and social dimensions, exploring governance, auditing and risks assessment topics.

11 FAIP: Who is this program designed for? This program is designed for the perspective of subjects aiming to operate in international companies or as accounting consultants working in a time of fast-growing globalization, greatly enhancing employment opportunities and career prospects as: CFOs in multinational entities, managers wanting to develop new business projects in international dimensions within existing companies or with the ambition to build their own start-up company. Those who are interested in gaining skills and competences to operate in «global practice of international accounting development assistance» as chartered accountant, external and internal auditor, expert in corporate governance, financial accounting advisor. Professionals and consultants who are interested in gaining knowledge and competencies for supporting organizations to develop new business opportunities or providing moving/relocation assistance.
