Technicians traditionally used ruggedized laptop computers or specialized devices to access their work orders, only occasionally connecting with the back office. It does not indicate vendor ranking. Vendors that score high offer more bang-forthe-buck (e.g. features, usability, stability, etc.) than the average vendor, while the inverse is true for those that score lower. Today, native Android and ios applications are available, along with HTML5 access. ViryaNet is the only platform reviewed that leverages voice commands on mobile.
