8 PTS gapless range bars: PTS Gapless Range Bars are different from the classic range bars in that the gaps in ticks/pips are not considered while charting the price. To fill the gaps, the range bars are used. These bars are called Phantom bars. As a result, you see smooth price action and smoother indicators. The smoothing of indicators does not allow distortion of indicator lines like you see in time based bars or classic range bars.
