1 Phase 1 - Enter Portale dello Studente Open your browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox) and type or copy the following URL: in the address bar (as shown in the image below). The logo to click for direct access to Portale dello Studente is also shown on Roma Tre s home page: ( )

2 Enter Online Services. Once inside the Portale dello Studente: Click on Servizi on-line situated on the left main menu Click then on Accedi ai servizi on-line shown at the bottom of the page: (as indicated in the image below )

3 IMPORTANT: The next four pages explain how to overcome problems that may arise the FIRST TIME you access our Portale dello Studente. If you get an Error Page (using Internet Explorer Access) When you connect through Microsfot Internet Explorer, the following error message could appear: Si è verificato un problema con il certificato di protezione del sito Web. (as shown in the image below). It is not really an error, it only means that the certificate of security protection is not recognized by your browser. Click on Continuare con il sito Web (scelta non consigliata).. The system will require to insert your user name and password (nome utente e password) (as shown in the image below ). Insert those you got from the registration procedure. Be very carefull to respect the capital/small letters and the numbers in your password, as the system is case-sensitive.

4 If you get an Error Page (using FireFox Access) If you connect instead - through FireFox, the following error message could appear: Il certificato non è affidabile in quanto l autorità emittente è sconosciuta (as shown in the image below). It is not a real error, it just means that the certificate of security protection is not recognized by your browser. Click on Oppure è possibile aggiungere un eccezione. Click then on Aggiungi eccezione (as shown in the image below).

5 Click on Acquisisci certificato (as shown in the image below ). Click on Conferma eccezione di sicurezza (as shown in the image below).

6 The system will require you to reinsert your user name and password (nome utente e password) (as shown in the image below ): insert the ones you got from the registration procedure, being very carefull to respect the capital/small letters and the numbers which are in your password, as the system is case-sensitive.

7 Phase 2 - Secure Area Access You are now inside your secure area of the Portale dello Studente. Once you have entered the Portale Dello Studente, click on Segreteria then Immatricolazione then Immatricolazione ai corsi ad accesso libero Click on Corso Singolo.

8 Click on Corso Singolo : Fill the spaces as shown below: Tipo (type of enrollment): Immatricolazione standard Anno Accademico : Current Academic year (e.g. 2009/2010) Data di prima immatricolazione al sistema universitario : insert today s date. You can leave blank the text Areas for Ateneo di prima immatricolazione.. and Ulteriori Dati Then click on Conferma as shown in the image below

9 Click on Prosegui You have now made the request to enroll. You should now print the enrollment request by clicking on ( Stampa domanda di immatricolazione ):

10 Phase 3 Selection of courses Once you have made the request to enroll, wait for about one working day then enter again to your secure area on the Portale dello Studente : Open the link Piano di Studio and click on nuovo Piano :

11 Click on Prosegui compilazione Piano Carriera Insert the course(s) you want to take as a single course (as a non-roma3-degree-seeking student):

12 Select a class from the list of available classes. Note: If you are participating in Studying Law at Roma3, for the field insegnamenti select: GIURISPRUDENZA CICLO UNICO (101601) Then select a course from the list that appears on the screen:

13 Once you have chosen one course, you can either: A) add other courses, by repeating the three steps above, in which you 1) Select a course and click on aggiungi, 2) Select a class from the list of available classes and 3) Then select a course from the list that appears on the screen OR B) you can complete the procedure by clicking on Regola Succ The last screen should be:

14 Phase 4 Pay your tuition Once you have selected all your courses, after one day, in the section Segreteria Pagamenti, you will be able to find the fee sheet, which you will have to pay, for the selected course(s) you ve enrolled in as a single class(es) : Note: you can either pay in person at any branch of Unicredit Banca di Roma (if you re in Italy), or you can pay directly online with a credit card (for further info, see the guide on Credit Card Payment, available at: )
