2 SUNRISE MEIL INSTLLTION N JUSTMENT OF THE SHOE HOLER The left and right shoe holders can mount to the footrest plate using x T- nuts and x M6xx bolts per side. VOYGE POSTURL OMPONENTS SHOE HOLER. Mount the shoe holder a. Make sure that height and angle adjustment of the footplate () is optimal before proceeding to the next steps. b. While holding the T-nuts in the slots (), thread the button head screws into the T-nuts. c. Using a mm hex key, snug but do not tighten the screws so that the feet can be placed in the best location for support and posture.. djust the shoe holder a. The shoe holder can slide left or right in the slot (Figure ) and can be set at an angle as shown in (Figure ) b. Once the correct placement of the shoe holder is determined, use the mm hex key to tighten the M6 screws. c. If necessary, repeat the steps for the other side. IS00 Rev.

3 SUNRISE MEIL INSTLLTION N JUSTMENT OF THE LTERL THIGH SUPPORT The left and right thigh support pads and brackets can be mounted to the asymmetrical leg plates, using x T-nuts, x washer, and x M6xx bolts per side. VOYGE POSTURL OMPONENTS LTERL THIGH SUPPORT. Prepare leg plates for installation a. You can use an utility knife, or peel away the excess velcro () in the case of a slot being covered up. b. Slots exposed, and velcro removed () c. It may be necessary to loosen the screws () under the leg plates so that they can slide forward to expose the outer slots. ttach the lateral thigh support 5 a. The lateral thigh support and pad () can be installed in different locations on the leg plate: Narrow, Medium, and Wide. b. Using a mm hex key, attach the thigh support bracket using x button head screws, x washers, and x T-nuts. o not tighten the hardware until correct adjustment has been made. c. The bracket and pad can be rotated slightly to support most leg angles. d. Using the mm hex key, tighten the screws. e. If necessary, repeat the steps for the other side. NRROW MEIUM 5 WIE IS00 Rev.

4 SUNRISE MEIL INSTLLTION N JUSTMENT OF THE LTERL HIP SUPPORT The left and right hip supports can be mounted to the backshell using x - hole bracket, x washers, and x M6xx bolts per side. The hip support mounting points can be found behind the back support padding on the seating shell in locations shown (). ttaching the hip support pad/bracket a. Mount the lateral hip support () to the backshell by placing the lateral bracket on the inside of the backshell, and then the -hole nut()on top of the lateral bracket. b. Thread the M6 screws thru the back and into the -hole nut (). c. Using a mm hex key, snug the screws.. Hip support pad adjustment a. You can move the pad and bracket horizontally in and out for optimum fit. b. fter adjusting to proper fit, use the mm Hex Key and tighten the screws on each side d. 5 SUNRISE MEIL INSTLLTION N JUSTMENT OF THE MEIL SUPPORT The Medial support can be mounted to the seatpan using x M6xx6 bolt, and x washer. VOYGE POSTURL OMPONENTS MEIL SUPPORT. Remove the Lower Transit Strap a. The medial support mounting point can be found under the front of the seat pan in location shown (). b. Using the mm hex key, remove the screw holding the lower transit strap, and discard it. This is where the medial support bracket will attach.. ssembly of parts before attaching the bracket a. ssemble the longer screw (), washer (), medial bracket (), and seat belt (E) as shown in (figure ). E 5. ttach and adjust the medial support pad/bracket a. Using the mm hex key, mount the medial support bracket at the same location as the belt attachment point () on the seat pan. b. Make sure the bracket () is straight, and using the mm hex key, tighten the screw () to a torque of 0-5 in-lbs. c. 6 SUNRISE MEIL VOYGE POSTURL OMPONENTS FIXE NGLE JUSTLE LTERL TRUNK SUPPORT INSTLLTION N JUSTMENT OF THE FIXE NGLE JUSTLE LTERL TRUNK SUPPORT The Fixed ngle djustable Lateral Trunk Support can be mounted to the lateral back plates using x T-nuts, x washers, and x M6xx bolts per side.. Location and ttachment a. Using a mm hex key from the rear of the seating shell, loosen the screws() for the lateral back mount plate (). b. Slide the Mount plate to a position that allows some open space in the horizontal slots, so that you can attach the fixed trunk supports.. ttaching and adjusting the Lateral Trunk Support a. Using the mm hex key, mount the Lateral Trunk Support bracket holding the T-nuts in place from the rear of the backshell, thread the M6 screws () thru the Lateral bracket and into the T-nuts. b. djust the bracket and pad mount() to it s optimum support position, and tighten the hardware. c. Mount the pad to the pad mount(). d. Repeat the steps on both sides. IS00 Rev. 6

7 SUNRISE MEIL INSTLLTION N JUSTMENT OF THE SWING-WY LTERL TRUNK SUPPORT The Swing-away Lateral Trunk Support can be mounted to the lateral back plates using x T-nuts, x washers, and x M6xx bolts per side. VOYGE POSTURL OMPONENTS SWING WY LTERL TRUNK SUPPORT. Location and ttachment a. Using a mm hex key from the rear of the seating shell, loosen the screws() for the lateral back mount plate (). b. Slide the Mount plate to a position that allows some open space in the horizontal slots, so that you can attach the swing-away trunk supports.. ttaching and adjusting the Lateral Trunk Support a. Using the mm hex key, mount the Lateral Trunk Support bracket holding the T-nuts in place from the rear of the backshell, thread the M6 screws () thru the Lateral bracket and into the T-nuts. b. djust the bracket and pad mount() to it s optimum support position, and tighten the hardware. c. Mount the pad to the pad mount(). d. Repeat the steps on both sides.. Setting ngle for Swing-away Trunk Support a. Unlock the Swing-away lateral and swing it out of the way to gain access to the lock-screws. b. Using the mm hex key, loosen the button head lock screws. c. djust the bracket and pad to it s optimum support position, and unlock the Lateral mechanism. d. Hold the adjustment in place while tightening the lock-screws. e. Repeat the steps on both sides. 5 UNLOK LOOSEN JUST UNLOK GIN TIGHTEN 7 IS00 Rev.

8 SUNRISE MEIL VOYGE POSTURL OMPONENTS HEREST SUPPORT (HIGH OR LOW POSITION) INSTLLING THE HEREST The Headrest can be mounted to the backshell using x -hole slide nut, x M6xx6 bolts, x /-8 x 5/8 machine screws, and x washers. HIGH. High mount position Headrest installation a. Mount the headrest and bracket () as shown, using x M6 bolts and washers (), and the -hole slide nut. b. fter adjusting the headrest to optimum support position, use the mm hex key to tighten the screws. Low mount position Headrest installation 5 a. To mount the headrest in the low position, invert the bracket(). b. Using the x M6 bolts and washers (), and the -hole slide nut, attach the bracket as shown. c. To orient the headrest () right-side up, use a /6 hex key to remove the two /-8 x 5/8 headrest screws () orient the headrest as shown and re-attach the screws. d. fter adjusting the headrest to optimum support position, use the mm and /6 hex keys to make sure the screws are tight LOW 5 IS00 Rev. 8

9 SUNRISE MEIL VOYGE POSTURL OMPONENTS PELVI POSITIONING ELT INSTLLING THE PELVI POSITIONING ELT WRNING The pelvic belt is not transit approved and should not be used as a substitute for the nterior Trunk H strap support when in a transit situation.. Location and ttachment a. Using a mm hex key and 0mm wrench, remove the bolts() circled in (Figure). These will be the lower mounting points. b. olt removed() (Figure ). ttaching the Pelvic belt a. Reattach the bolt () for each side, placing the washer () in front of the pelvic positioning belt bracket () as shown. b. The completed pelvic positioning belt is shown in (Figure ).. NOTE: For chairs with recline. a. heck to see if the backshell is difficult to recline after tightening the bolts. If the recline mechanism is stiff, you may loosen the screw() slightly until the recline functions freely. 9 IS00 Rev.

10 SUNRISE MEIL VOYGE POSTURL OMPONENTS OMFORT FIT TS NTERIOR TRUNK SUPPORT LI L KIOS INSTLLING THE OMFORT FIT TS (LI L KIOS) The TS can be mounted to the backshell using a x M6xx bolts, x washers, x nylock nuts, x M6xx5, and re-using the removed screws. 5. Location and ttachment a. The upper belt brackets can mount to any available area in the open slots (). b. Using the mm hex key and a 0mm wrench, remove the bolts circled in red (). The lower belt brackets will mount in this location. c. Mount the lower belt brackets in location () by either reattaching the hardware () that was removed previously, or by using new hardware that may have been provided with the belt. d. Use a nylock nut, washer, and M6 bolt for each upper belt bracket (). NOTE: For chairs with recline. a. heck to see if the backshell is difficult to recline after tightening the bolts.
