He graduated from Ankara Law Faculty. Before starting as lecturer at Selcuk Law Faculty in Turkey he has completed his LLM and Ph.D studies at Essex and Leicester respectively, both in. He has worked as Honorary Research Fellow at Leicester, Durham and Glasgow from 2007 to In 2005 he has worked as a legal trainee at European Court Human Rights. He has established and is directing Human Rights Centre at Selcuk. He is working extensively on Constitutional Law, International Human Rights Law and Rule Law. He has worked on various Research projects that have been financed by Council Europe, European Union, Oxford Press, Arts and Humanities Council, Turkish Research Council (TÜBİTAK) and Turkish Justice Academy. He currently is based at Selçuk Law Faculty as a lecturer in Constitutional Law and Director Human Rights Centre and seconded at Law Faculty İstanbul Medeniyet. 6
