4 Intrductin The State Telecmmunicatins System (STS) prvides vice lng distance service t state gvernment ffices, university system administrative ffices, authrized users in cities, cunties schl districts, and certain tax-exempt and gvernment-funded rganizatins and was extended t independent clleges and universities as part f TEACH. What Is Included Outbund lng distance Inbund lng distance (tll free 800 service) Switched Digital Service Supprts cmpressed vide and data ver the public switched telephne netwrk (PSTN) Access T1 service fr STS message centers and custmer with their wn phne systems AT&T BusinessDirect custmer prtal allws custmers t analyze netwrk data; mnitr netwrk perfrmance; cntrl tll free ruting; rder services; reprt and track trubles; view, analyze, and pay bills; and rder and manage crprate calling cards. What Is Nt Included Service establishment is nt autmatic. Custmers need t PIC (select) legacy AT&T as the lng distance carrier and ntify the STS prgram that lines have been added s that they can be added t the AT&T OneNet billing platfrm and the STS billing inventry.
