2 Presentation São Paulo, April 1 st Dear Exhibitor, ABTCP - the Brazilian Pulp and Paper Technical Association, has been forming and informing the Pulp and Paper industry for 47 years. In 2013, with the partnership of organizations as well as research institutes and universities, we trained more than 2100 people and promoted the leading industry international exhibition and congress in Latin America. Furthermore, we were ahead of key technical definitions in our segment, by participating in revisions of NR12 and NR13, "Brazil Maior" Program, Sector Standardization, and National Policies on Solid Waste (PNRS) and Water Resources (PNRH), among others. Moreover, ABTCP encouraged discussions on solutions to improve production processes, through the work of its Technical Committees, and served on the exchange and dissemination of scientific knowledge by publishing "O Papel" magazine - which, from January this year will have an additional digital version, free for members and subscribers. And will continue with its mission in 2014, expanding its communication channels to better serve members, which includes the presence on social networks and the modernization of its website. Aiming at increasingly improve the International Pulp and Paper Congress and Exhibition, an organizing committee was set up with a mission to revitalize the Congress. Among the main novelties for this year we will have the Technical Sessions held only in the morning from 9:00 AM to 01:00 PM. Thematic Sessions will be conducted in the afternoon, with technical/commercial lectures. It will be an excellent opportunity for exhibitors to present their technologies to the sector. Those interested in presenting cases should contact our technical coordinator, Viviane Nunes, until 05/15/2014 (see more information in item 12). Still, in order to add value to exhibitors visibility, starting this year, the Official Exhibition Catalogue will be a part of the Pulp and Paper Purchasing Guide - MANUFACTURERS AND SUPPLIERS (see more information in item 6). The 47 th Congress - ABTCP 2014 will be held in partnership with TAPPI - Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry, an international association established in 1915 focusing on technology and training for the pulp and paper sector. The event will take place from October 7 th 2

3 to 9 th, 2014, in São Paulo (SP), at the Transamerica Expo Center, and will have as a central theme "Competitiveness: is your company ready to win in the future?". 8 WARNING: The timing allowed for cargo handling and unloading in the outer areas of TEC, during the assembly and disassembly period, is from 07:00 A.M. to 09:00 P.M. No movement of materials and equipment will be allowed in the areas of loading and unloading in the period between 09:00 P.M. and 07:00 A.M., when the access gates to Pavilions and emergency doors remain closed. The access of vehicles for loading and unloading in TEC is allowed for 24 (twenty four) hours. The vehicle that enters between 09:00 P.M. and 07:00 A.M. on the next day cannot transit through the areas of loading and unloading, no equipment handling being permitted and this vehicle must remain in the front parking area of TEC, observing the guidelines provided by the parking operator (ESTAPAR). Assembly and disassembly within the pavilions is permitted during 24 (twenty four) hours, with the doors closed, since there is no external noise that may disturb the neighbors and provided the noise is in accordance with established legal limits. NOTE: - stand replenishment from 08:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and from 04:00 P.M. to 05:00 P.M. (without cart); in accordance with the drawing below. - Stands may not be empty during exhibition hours. - Daily cleaning of stands shall be only allowed between 08:00 and 10:00 A.M. * PAVILION SHALL BE FULLY CLEARED BY 06:00 P.M. OF 10/10/2014 WITHOUT DELAY. 8

9 FAILURE TO DELIVER THE PAVILION BY 06:00 P.M. SHALL SUBJECT THE EXHIBITOR TO A FINE OF R$ 2, (TWO THOUSAND REAIS) PER DAY OF DELAY. 4. General Information This manual is an integrated part of the ABTCP 2014 EXHIBITION CONTRACT. The completion of the forms and printing of bank slips will be possible only through the electronic manual with your login and password. The credentials of exhibitors, services and assemblers will be forwarded to the responsible people after confirming the payment of the mandatory fees, without any exception. The entrance of suppliers of exhibitors and assemblers will only be allowed when duly accredited. 4.1 Staff Access This Manual is an integral part of the TENANCY AGREEMENT and will serve as a guide for all relationships between EXHIBITORS and THEIR SUPPLIERS and ABTCP during the event organization and presentation period. With this manual we intended to offer the most complete guide for the participation of your company in our event, by providing detailed information to expedite the required actions. The exhibitor shall be solely responsible for performing all rules and meeting the deadlines established in this manual. This way, this document contains all such rules and deadlines, while the assembler will be provided with a summary document containing all information related to stand assembly, maintenance and disassembly. Forms related to services provided during the event, for which we have judiciously selected some suppliers, are available in the event website at Forms related to the exhibitor are included in the folder Exhibition Manual/Forms. In addition, forms to be completed by the assemblers are in the folder Exhibition Manual/Form. Only identified people may enter the event, which shall be required to bear an identification tag on a visible place during their stay in internal areas. 9

10 The official event security may require from the identification tag s holder a document with his/her photo to confirm the data. Unauthorized use of an identification tag shall cause its seizure. 4.2 Foreign Exhibitors/Visitors Access The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil has a policy of visas based on reciprocity. Therefore, exhibitors and visitors from some foreign countries must apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of Brazil in their country of nationality. The applicant's passport, valid for at least 6 months (dirty, damaged or deleted passports will not be accepted); 2. Visa application form duly completed and signed; 3. Recent 3x4 cm or 5x7 cm photo with white background; 4. Original and a complete set of photocopies of: round-trip ticket or departure from Brazil or proof of means of subsistence during the stay of the applicant in the country; 5. Vaccination certificate, if required; 6. Payment of a fee, which varies according to the type of visa and the length of stay. 4.3 Minor and Students Children under 16 shall not be allowed to enter the area during event assembly, presentation and disassembly, even if there is a person responsible for them in the company. This shall also apply to exhibitors children. 4.4 First Aid The medical center shall remain open throughout the event during hours consistent with assembly, presentation and disassembly, and make an ambulance service available to visitors and exhibitors. 4.5 Post Office Should you need to send mails to your stand during the event, just send them to the address below, making reference to the name of event, name of your company and stand number: Transamerica Expo Center Pavilions D, E 10

During assembly, presentation and disassembly, in the period from 10/03/2014 to 10/06/2014, TEM shall be available for any clarifications at CAEX Exhibitor Service Center. During assembly and disassembly, that service shall be provided in the space located at the backyard of Pavilion C, in TEC Loading and Unloading Area. During tha assembling, event presentation and disassemblig, on the other hand, exhibitor service shall be provided at an area located at the entrance hall of pavilion D. 12 5.2 Payments Badges and space release for assembly shall only be delivered to those exhibitors that shall have paid all duties related to exhibition, including charges: electric power and municipal government charges that are obligatory and other charges upon request, such as: water outlets, customized assembly, additional credentials, etc. Payment of all charges by the exhibitor and assembler shall be made not later than 09/19/2014, by bank slip printed by the exhibitor/assembler directly from the event site after the relevant form has been completed. No payments of charges already entered in the forms during the assembly and disassembly period may be made at CAEX. Under no circumstances exceptions will be made; in the event of any pending payment due from the exhibitor, its payment should be made before its entry in the area, otherwise the exhibitor shall not be allowed to assemble its stand. Thus, access to your company information will be limited, as well as booth location. 7. Social Events 7.1 Fraternization Dinner 2014 On 10/08/14 a dinner party for fraternization of professionals of cellulose and paper sector will be held, ABTCP Dinner happens during the Pulp and Paper International Congress and Exhibition and, apart from being an excellent opportunity for building a sector relationship, will be the moment of delivering the awards to the winners of 2014 Sector Highlights. Note: Only the ingress of ABTCP official photographer shall be allowed. Any Exhibitors interested in photographing or filming the dinner should request ABTCP formal authorization at least 20 days before the event. Without that authorization, the access of any photographer to the event shall not be allowed. 7.2 Official Opening Session On the first day of the event, 10/07/14 at 10:00 A.M., the event Opening Session will take place, announced counting on the attendance of representatives of cellulose and paper sector and governmental authorities. 8. Assembler Certification With the objective of valuing the assemblers that provide the exhibitor and event with quality services, ABTCP has delivered since 2006 a quality certification to the best assemblers, based on the following criteria: - Total compliance with the rules described in the exhibitor/assembler manual taking into consideration all their clients at the event; 14

15 - Fulfillment of project delivery deadline taking into consideration all their clients at the event; - Fulfillment of form completion deadline, taking into consideration all their clients at the event; - Settlement of all charges related to their services taking into consideration all their clients at the event; - Compliance with rules and assembly and disassembly deadlines taking into consideration all their clients at the event. - Criteria will be: optimum, good and insufficient. To achieve the certification, all your customers must have scored with the same opinion. - The assembler may not have undergone any kind of penalty. After the event, we will be sending to the exhibitors a form for the evaluation of the assemblers previously approved by the TEM management. The comments of the exhibitors hiring the assemblers will be considered for the certification analysis. Certified assemblers shall be announced at the event hotsite and will receive the Certificate through the assembler Committee of ABTCP 2014 Exhibitors This is a group of exhibitors that offered to participate in the exhibitor committee with the objective of addressing immediate matters jointly with ABTCP. Every year, an opportunity is given to all exhibitors to join and/or leave the committee. The committee member who shall fail to attend unjustifiably for two consecutive times any ABTCP meeting (related to the exhibition) shall lose automatically the right to participate in the exhibitor committee. Any Exhibitor may communicate with the committee by the comissaoexpositores@abtcp.org.br. The updated list of 2014 Exhibitors Committee is available at the event hotsite Communication with Exhibitors ABTCP shall keep contact with the exhibitors through the following communication channels: - Event hotsite containing information targeted to exhibitor, congressmen, panelists and visitors ( General event management Access to all communications, information, rules, deadlines, etc.); - Exhibition, though which all deadlines, announcements and important information about the event will be reminded; - s; - Telephone and Fax; - Meetings (as necessary); and Letters printed and electronic. 15

16 Note: all formal communications shall be posted in Hotsite Exhibition Minutes and Communications. 11. ABTCP Press Office and Journalism 11.1 ABTCP Press Office ABTCP discloses, annually, the pulp and paper international congress and exhibition, as well as the exhibitors, by means of a joint communication work of the entity with the press offices of exhibitors. Besides the disclosure with press releases, ABTCP press team invites the journalists for covering the event and provides services to these professionals at the Press Room* all over ABTCP ABTCP Communication Coordination Unit also responsible for the journalism work - prepares every year an action plan along with the exhibitors press office teams, in order to reach the widest coverage of the event by the press, in general. Because of the media interest in covering the panels on the market and key technical issues of ABTCP Congress program, no Opening Press Conference will be held this year. ABTCP have noticed that this particular communication action has not been primarily responsible for the visibility of the event in the media, but the presence of public figures, such as governors, secretaries, among others, and renowned industry executives. Therefore, the invitation to the press this year will be done in a personalized way, considering the need of the agenda of each guest journalist. *Press Room is a space for attending the journalist visiting ABTCP 2014 for covering the event, and to support the exhibitors' press offices for distributing materials to the journalists. Therefore, ABTCP journalism team works in this room, covering the congress and the exhibition and supporting the exhibitors in delivering press releases to the journalists. Exhibitors may leave their press kits in this room, located next to the Secretariat/Registration of ABTCP 2014, right at the first day of the event, in the morning, or the day before the event starts. This way, they assure that their information will be shared with the highest number of journalists attending the Important Note: the accreditation of exhibitors press officers can be done in advance, through the patriciacapo@abtcp.org.br, filling the field "Subject": Press Office Pre Accreditation, with the following information: full name, address, CPF (or passport number, for press officers from overseas). The same pre accreditation procedure can be adopted by journalists willing to cover ABTCP 2014, by filling the field "Subject": Pre Accreditation for ABTCP 2014 Coverage, 16

17 11.2 ABTCP Journalism and Content Publishing ABTCP journalist team performs the complete coverage of the congress and exhibition, based on the annual programming of ABTCP 2014, to be published at O Papel Magazine printed edition and website ( social networks of the entity and at the website of the Pulp and Paper Purchasing Guide ( In March, June and September 2014, an institutional report will be published at O Papel" Magazine, with the list of the participating exhibitors. This will be an excellent opportunity for those exhibitors to reinforce the disclosure of their companies, with the help of ads programming at O Papel Magazine. This will be also an excellent opportunity for these companies to gain greater visibility in the forest based sector through ad scheduling in "O Papel" magazine, both in printed and digital versions. Access: read the editions online or download the application "Revista O Papel" on AppleStore and GooglePlay stores for reading on tablets and Smartphones and meet the new options of digital media of the leading magazine in the pulp and paper sector, celebrating 75 years in 2014! 11.3 ABTCP 2014 Photographic Production ABTCP will contract an official photographer to capture images intended for its institutional press, communication and journalism actions. Photos produced by this specialized professional will be made available by ABTCP to exhibitors, after the event, upon request, which will be evaluated case by case, for granting the use of image. Therefore, all exhibitors may contract other photographers to make their exclusive photographic coverage. The photographer s work should be previously authorized by ABTCP through the contracting exhibitor, and may produce images exclusively of the exhibitor s booth and places attended by that exhibitor. * Important note:: the company of professional selected by the exhibitor to carry out that work should be previously authorized by ABTCP (by authorization letter). The same procedure shall apply to assemblers interested in taking photos of stands. After ABTCP authorization, the exhibitor can accredit the photographer using the Exhibitors Credential Request form until the deadline: 09/19/14. On the other hand, the assembler must accredit the photographer by using the Assembler Credential Request form, until the deadline, 09/12/14. 17

18 The exhibitor/assembler shall be responsible for that supplier in case of eventual damages and/or claims by other exhibitors. Any exhibitor/assembler interested in photographing or filming the stand using TEC images should request ABTCP and TEM formal authorization at least 20 days before the event. This procedure shall also be adopted by exhibitors interested in photographing or filming the dinner party. Without that authorization, the access of photographers to the event shall not be allowed. The International Congress is scheduled to take place concomitantly with the Exhibition on October 7 th - 9 th, 2014 in São Paulo (SP), at Transamérica Expo Center, the central topic of which is "Competitiveness: is your company ready to win in the future?" offering a meeting opportunity for local and international technicians, on top of promoting the exchange of knowledge in several areas of pulp and paper industry and the contact with advanced technological solutions and last innovations. Among the main novelties of this year, the Technical Sessions will be held only in the morning from 9:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M. 19 The exhibitor shall only have access to events upon its enrolment. To enroll, interested companies should access the event hotsite indicated above Congress website. Printed and Electronic Invitations 13.1 Printed Invitations ABTCP will grant the EXHIBITOR up to 15 printed invitations per m² of stand to be distributed to its clients, provided that such invitations are requested in the form Printed Invitation Request available in the event hotsite at Exhibition Manual/Forms, by 06/20/14, to allow ABTCP to print the required number of invitations. Without filling out this form, ABTCP will not be able to consider any number of invitations for the exhibitor. Those exhibitors requiring a number of printed invitations exceeding that calculated on the basis of square meters should inform the requested number in that form. A fee equivalent to R$ /100 invitations will be charged, provided that the acquisition of such invitations will be subject to printing availability of requested number. Payment should be made by bank slip printed by the exhibitor directly from the event website after the relevant form is completed, and due on 07/21/2014. How to withdraw Printed Invitations: After requesting the desired number of invitations using the Printed Invitations Request, the invitations will be sent to the address registered in the system by Express Mail (Sedex) only. Mailing charges depend on the final destination (State) and on the number of invitations (hundreds). A bank slip will be issued for the payment of the service, printed by the exhibitor straight from the event website, after the selecting the option Express mail receival, to be paid on 07/21/2014. In the case an additional number of invitations is requested, this new hundred will be charged along with the Express mail (Sedex) service, in the same bank slip. 20 The invitations will be sent by Express mail (Sedex) from the second fortnight of July on. The option of Express mail delivery (Sedex) will not be available for international exhibitors. Those wishing to receive printed invitations must hire courier service in their origin countries. Invitations are individual and in any case must be stamped by the exhibitor and completed by the visitor. It is recommended that each exhibitor sends the invitations, including a letter of invitation to its customers and / or potential customers, since the greater the number of firms invited, greater disclosure of ABTCP 2014 and the number of visitors. Remember that research done during the previous event confirmed that the invitation is the most effective tool in spreading the exhibition Electronic Invitations In addition to printed invitation, the exhibitor may request, as from the 2 nd half of July, in forms area, a customized electronic invitation to be sent to its clients by . Upon receiving the electronic invitation, the visitor should apply for his/her accreditation in the event hotsite at Visitor. After registration, the visitor will receive an identification number that should be printed and presented to the event reception desk. That invitation will be available in the event website as from the second half of August. Such invitations will be available in English and Portuguese versions. 14. Credentials / Badges (Exhibitor/Service and Assembler) 14.1 Exhibitor/Service The exhibitor is entitled to a free credential/badge for every 2 m 2 of stand surface area. All exhibitor professionals and service providers (hostesses, buffet, waiters, photographer, etc.) should be properly identified during the event assembly, presentation and disassembly. For security reasons, credentials/badges are personal and nontransferable, and therefore should bear the name of respective service providers (eventually a security guard may request the ID to confirm the badge identification. If the badge is not correct, the security guard will seize the badge and send it to CAEX). Credentials/badges containing only the name of type of service e.g.: hostess, buffet, etc. shall not be printed. For daily cleaning and security services hired with accredited companies, suppliers should request the credentials to TEM. Credentials/badges, including additional ones, should be requested by completing the form Exhibitor Credentials Request until the deadline of 09/19/14, which is available in the event hotsite at Exhibition Manual/Forms.
