1 EDITORA BIRUTA is a children s and youth publishing house, with a great concern in literary quality, illustrations and graphic project. In 2013 we complete 13 years of existence. IF YOU NEED FURTHER INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT US: FOREIGN RIGHTS We think that enrich our publications with high quality authors is the best way to value the ones we want as readers. Rich texts, with multiple interpretations are abundant in our catalogue and contribute to the reader s formation. Beautiful illustrations are means to stimulate their cognitive development trough colours, images and shapes and enlarge the dialogue between image and words. To dare in graphic projects complete this triad: it s a motivation for children to become complete literary readers, capable to see the different facets of books. We believe that offering to the readers space to develop their intelligence and emotions are the best contribution we can give to a full society life. CAROLINA MALUF carolina@editorabiruta.com.br The result of this work and belief is expressed in the books we produced, that you can see in the following pages. The Editors
