Research Experience Dissertation Research on Risk Factors for Intimate Partner Femicide a retrospective case-control study reviewing intimate partner homicide cases since 1980 in Burlington County, NJ, and

3 Michael T. Wiltsey, Ph.D. 3 comparing them to aggravated assault cases from the same time period on empirically supported risk factors for homicide. Research Intern with Policy Research Associates on cross-training curriculum development project concerning co-occurring substance abuse and mental illness. Primary Investigator: Policy Research Associates, Inc. Interviewer for Classification of Violence Risk (COVR) software validation project This project was an outgrowth of the ten-year study completed by Monahan et al. on Violence Risk Assessment. Primary responsibility involved interviewing psychiatric inpatients at Hahnemann Hospital concerning violence. Primary Investigator: Policy Research Associates, Inc. Conducted research on hostile attributional biases and social information processing for a sample of adult and juvenile offenders. The adults were recruited from the Monmouth County Correctional Center and the juveniles were recruited from the Monmouth County Juvenile Detention Center.
