Design / Development (of professional and good looking) and hosting of CMS (Content Management System) based Website for the Government media for Doordarshan Kendra, Chennai as specified in the Compliance of Technical specifications table: 1 Job. Deputy Director General(Engg) Doordarshan Kendra Swamy Sivananda Salai, Chennai TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. The quotations should specifically mention days required for completion of work, terms and conditions of work. The prices should be firm and given as under: The UNIT price should be before the UNIT as indicated in the tender enquiry. 2. The price quoted should be F.O.R. Station of destination in INDIA and inclusive of charges for Service tax etc., where applicable. 3. The printed terms and conditions on the letter heads of tendering firms will not be considered as forming parts of their tenders. Conditions applicable should be specifically stated. 4. Tenders should be submitted in 2 bid system a) EMD & Technical bid b) Commercial bid. EMD & Technical bid are to be placed in an envelope and Commercial bid should be placed on another envelop. Both the envelopes are to be sealed properly with red lac or wax. Both EMD & Technical bid and Commercial bid envelops are to be placed on a large size envelope and the same should be sealed properly with red lac or wax. Commercial bid should be submitted in the format enclosed with this tender (Annexure C ) 5. Tenderers may require to fill all the technical particulars of Compliance report (Annexure A ) & Technical bid Proforma (Annexure B ) and sign on bottom of all the pages with rubber stamp. Both the annexure A & B are to be placed along with Technical bid. 6. EMD should be submitted in the form of Demand Draft for amounting to Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) and DD should be drawn in favour of The Deputy Director General, Doordarshan Kendra, Chennai. 7. Service Tax: Service Tax where applicable and intended to be claimed from the department would be distinctly shown along with the price quoted. Where this is not done, no claim for service tax will be admitted on any ground whatsoever. 8. The terms of payment 100% within 30 days from the date of completion of work. 9. The quotations should be sent in a sealed cover addressed to the undersigned so as to reach on or before Hrs. ON

2 10. The cover should be super scribed with following details: (a) Name of the work for which quotations are enclosed. (b) Reference to letter of enquiry. (c) Due date, of opening of quotation. 11. The Technical bid will be opened in the office of the Dy. Director General (Engg.), Doordarshan Kendra, Chennai-5 at Hrs. ON in the presence of tenderers or their agents as they may choose to attend. Date of opening of Commercial bid will be informed in the latter stage to the Technically qualified tenderers. 12. Quotations not properly super scribed and sealed properly will not be considered. 13.The quotations submitted should remain open for acceptance for a period of six months from the date of acceptance. 14. Complete technical details required as per specifications should be furnished along with quotations. Relevant drawing or Photographs may also be sent. 15. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled on 23 rd June 2014 at 14.30hrs. at this Kendra in this regards. All the tenderers are requested to demonstrate their template pages during the pre-bid meeting. Attendance of prebid meeting is mandatory. Tenders submitted by the tenderers who have not attended the pre-bid meeting will not be considered for bid opening. 16. The undersigned reserves the right to reject the lowest tender of all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever. Further, the undersigned reserves the right for decreasing the quantity of the materials tendered depending upon the actual requirements. Order will placed for the unit rate quoted in the tender. 17. The firms who are not willing to work on credit basis need not respond to the enquiry. 18. The work should be guaranteed for 12 months from the date of commissioning of the web-site. 19. Tenderer should quote their TIN/VAT/Service Tax Registration number/pan on the quotations. 20. The work should be completed not less than one month from the date of issue of the order. 21. In case, any clarification is required the tenderer may seek the same from the IT Division of Doordarshan Kendra, Chennai (Ph , , with ext. 291) before submitting the Tender document. Any request after the last date and time for submission of bids for any clarification would not be entertained. 22. The successful tenderer may required to submit a performance 5% of the order value in the form of Demand Draft or Bank Guarantee or FDR.
