He was named "Barrister's Best DUI Lawyer" by Colorado Law Week in 2012 and 2013, was voted "People's Choice Best DUI Lawyer" in 2013, and is Preeminent AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He sits on the board of directors of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, and has been published numerous times on the subject of DUI defense and drug law. Mr. Tiftickjian is the co-author of Colorado DUI Defense: The Law and Practice, which is used in courtrooms across the State. Mr. Tiftickjian is president of Tiftickjian Law Firm, PC, which represents clients out of the firm s offices in Denver and Aspen. FACULTY Honorable Linda Billings Vela was appointed Teller County Court Judge on October 1, Prior to taking the bench in Teller County, Billings Vela served as a magistrate in the 4th Judicial District where she presided over the dependency and neglect and family treatment drug court dockets. She is assigned a general jurisdiction docket in Teller County; hearing civil, small claims, protection order, traffic and misdemeanor cases. Additionally, she currently presides over the El Paso County DUI Court docket in Colorado Springs. The El Paso County DUI Court program is designed to be consistent with national drug/dui court best practices. Judge Billings Vela is a strong proponent of problem solving courts and their effective approach to promoting public safety while supporting rehabilitation and recovery of participants. From 1995 to 1997 and from 2001 to 2009 she worked in the 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office where she prosecuted cases in juvenile court, county court, district court and the economic crimes division. From 1997 to 2001 she worked in private practice as an associate with Anderson Dude & Lebel on civil matters, school law, domestic relations and municipal utilities law. Timothy Bussey, Esq., is a Colorado Springs based litigation attorney. He is a former active duty Air Force Judge Advocate and a former Deputy District Attorney in El Paso and Teller Counties. Mr. Bussey is a requested speaker concerning innovative trial techniques. He was heavily involved in the litigation of both the Colorado Springs Metro Forensic Crime Laboratory and the CDPHE Laboratory. Mr. Bussey was quoted in an article cited by Justice Ginsburg in Bullcoming v. New Mexico, 131 S. Ct (2011), which addressed whether a defendant's Confrontation Clause rights extend to a non-testifying laboratory analyst.

3 Honorable Brian Campbell is a Denver native who graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1966, from Knox College in 1970, and CU College of Law in December, He was a law clerk for one year for Colorado District Court Judge Fred M. Winner and practiced law as a civil litigator dealing with Taft- Hartley Trust Funds as an associate with the Denver law firm of Gorsuch, Kirgis. In 1980, he was appointed by Mayor William McNichols to the Denver County Court and has served in a variety of capacities including Presiding Judge from August, 1990 to January, His forte has been specialty courts and he was the first judge assigned to the Environmental Court in As presiding judge he reconstituted the Denver County Court divisions and established a restraining order court, one of the first in the nation dedicated exclusively to restraining orders. When the first judge in that division retired he took over. In 2011, he was selected, by the committee charged with developing a sobriety court, to initiate the court. Over the past 3 years the court has graduated 113 individuals of which only 2 have reoffended so that the recidivism rate is less than 2%. R. Suzanne Iantorno, Esq., is an associate at The Law Firm of Abraham Hutt, P.C. She received her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2000 and a B.A. from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Ms. Iantorno was admitted to practice in Colorado in She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the National College for DUI Defense. She is a coauthor for a chapter on driver's license and collateral consequences for the Colorado DUI Benchbook and a co-author for the motor vehicle law section of the Annual Survey of Colorado Law, both published by the CBA. She has lectured extensively in the areas of driver's license consequences, DMV and criminal appeals, scientific evidence and motions practice in DUI cases, and trial tactics. Darin Mangnall, Esq., defends the criminally accused in the Denver area and has focused his practice in the area of DUI and DUI-D litigation. Although he started his legal career as a prosecutor, he has dedicated his practice to criminal defense for over ten years. He has exonerated clients in all manner of criminal defense cases from simple traffic violations to Murder in the First Degree. Mr. Mangnall is a member of the National College of DUI Defense. It is his firm belief that the science is on the side of the defense attorney in Driving Under the Influence of Drug cases and the effective advocate exposes this fact. Daniel Mossinghoff, Esq., has practiced criminal defense in the Denver area for over a decade. He has tried over a hundred jury trials as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney. Although he has an emphasis on DUI and DUI-D litigation, he and his partner, Mr. Mangnall, have successfully defended all manner of cases, including murder. He is a member of the National College of DUI Defense and has been listed as a Superlawyer Rising Star for the past two years. In 2013, the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorney's nominated him as a nationally ranked top ten attorney under 40 for criminal defense. Mr. Mossinghoff believes that a deep understanding of the science is the key to winning Driving Under the Influence of Drug cases. Adrienne Teodorovic, Esq., is an attorney with Tiftickjian Law Firm, P.C. She has litigated hundreds of DUI cases, and has presented at numerous CCDB and county bar association seminars on the ins and outs of the DMV hearing and reinstatement processes. Ms. Teodorovic has consulted on several DMV cases by analyzing driving records for early reinstatement eligibility and advising on hearing strategy. In addition, Ms. Teodorovic created quick-reference charts to be used by members of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar as a tool to navigate the DMV reinstatement process. Understanding the complex interplay between DUI law and DMV law is something Ms. Teodorovic has devoted hours of her practice to. She enjoys teaching others how to solve the complex logic puzzle created by the interplay of these statutes.
