5 Methods Olie survey of all udergraduate Schools of Nursig Heads of School were ivited to forward a ivitatio ad survey lik to staff ivolved i smokig cessatio educatio Multiple resposes from idividual Schools were collated to provide idividual School profiles

6 Results Schools ivited Schools resposes Idividual resposes I 2012 The umber of respodets per school varied from oe to eight Not all respodets completed all sectios of the survey

10 Discussio Game lifted!!! More schools are providig ABC traiig ad educatio about NRT. Some schools teach the 5As ad ABC. The NZ Smokig Cessatio guidelies do ot recommed the 5As. The 5As are ot cosistet with curret practice. Studets must udertake ABC traiig to become Quit Card providers. They ca oly become Quit Card providers i Year Three. While eleve schools report that studets become Quit Card providers, oly eight report that ABC traiig occurs i Year Three. This aomaly is uexplaied.

11 Limitatios The survey was ot ecessarily distributed to all relevat staff i idividual schools Icosistet resposes from multiple respodets i idividual schools reflect icomplete kowledge of the whole curriculum. It caot be iferred that ABC is taught by all idividuals teachig smokig cessatio.
