2 In international trade / Import Export Trade,a Letter of credit (LC) is a safe payment method. Most of the importers and exporters make this method unsafe by mishandling it. They don t comply with the credit (LC) terms and conditions completely and properly making thus errors here and there in compliant documentation. The objective of this training is to reduce document rejection by improving the Importer s and Exporter s UCP 600 knowledge management skills and trade documentation skills and practice. Our training provides utmost knowledge for- how to prevent, or detect and rectify errors before presenting documents to the bank, how to manage the credit (LC) deadlines, how to manage the situations of incorrigible discrepancies. Etc.. Our training guides the importer and exporter handle shipment smoothly, error free documentation for hassle-free payment, telling the exporter that all his other efforts in export will go waste if documentation part is not proper and as a result payment is not received. Our training specifying what are the risks in import and export trade and what type of LC covers what risks, what kind of LC is the safest and application of collection system if LC is not workable. LC is a financing means. Exporter needs funds until LC payment comes, to continue his business cycle. You will learn how LC itself can be used as a financing means, how funds can be raised against LC as a collateral to solve the financing needs. 3 LC can be used as a means for reducing risks and costs in delivery or for better control on goods in transit through INCOTERMS (DELIVERY TERMS) stipulation on LC.
