Ebooks come in a few different formats. Similar to Microsoft Word documents (.doc), music files (.mp3), and pictures (.jpeg), ebooks come in formats that are referred to by the letters at the end of their file name. Ebooks mainly come in three different formats epub, Mobi, and PDF. epub is a standard format for ebooks, and can easily be read on a variety of dedicated ereader and tablet devices, including the ipad and Nook. Mobi is a dedicated format that can only be read on Kindle products and apps. PDF is the most universal format for ebooks. epub allows readers to change the font size of s text on their ereaders, which adapts (or reflows) the text throughout the book accordingly. epub is a flexible format that will read legibly on most devices (ipad, Nook, other tablets), allowing readers to change various elements of the text interface to best suit their personal tastes. Mobi files work similarly, but only for Kindle devices and apps. PDFs are intended to look the same on every screen, with the settings locked in place, making them easy to read on a computer, but may shrink or be difficult to read on an ereader device. want to read it on Yes. Each book has its own page on the Agate website. Navigate to the page for the book you are interested in. You will see which formats of the book are available right under the title and author of the book. If you would like to order a copy of the book (ebook*, paperback, hardcover, etc.), select the version of the book you are interested in and click Buy. This will take you to your shopping cart. You may continue shopping by clicking the corresponding button at the bottom. 4 Is For Kindle You can download a book via Amazon for wireless delivery to your Kindle, or you can a book to your Kindle. ing a book to Kindle Locate your Kindle address. Go to your settings and tap More. Tap My Account and your Kindle address will be available on that screen. Make sure the send-to-kindle address is on your Amazon approved list. Sign in to Amazon.com and access Your Account. Go to Digital Content and choose Manage Your Kindle. Download the ebook, and click save book. Locate the file for the book and insert it into an to your Kindle address. Click send.
