Recruit is a cloud-based e-recruitment and applicant management system that helps you take advantage of the Internet World. Recruit is a widely used web based e-recruitment and talent management system used by over 30 local authorities to better manage recruitment, applicants and talent. It provides a streamlined and efficient recruitment process, utilising all the channels of modern electronic communications to cost effectively fill vacancies. At the same time the responsive websites encourage better quality candidate applications with proven support for the growing mobile and tablet based audience. Recruit is cloud-based, and an approved platform on the Government s G-Cloud framework. It is a fully managed service including hosting, support and license fees, but can be implemented on your own servers if preferred.
3 Recruit Overview Recruit s workflow based process provides a highly effective tool for your organisation to manage talent acquisition from start to finish. Activity may be delegated to managers or retained by a central HR department, or a combination of both. Vacancies are set up through pages customised for your organisation. You can add advertising copy (for online and print) and job descriptions, while person specifications and killer questions can be set up to filter inappropriate applications. These can then be stored in template libraries for amendment and re-use in the future. They may be scheduled or published immediately, and the customisable responsive website provides a sophisticated and satisfying experience for the applicant, who can set up job alerts, and enter their personal details which may then be used in any number of applications. Applications can be auto filtered and scored, whilst shortlisting can be a simple task of setting vacancy status, or a more complex one including assessment panels. Communicating with the applicants is managed via , print or messaging, and bulk update is supported, as is interview scheduling. Other facilities offered include request for and receipt of references, statutory checks, medical questionnaires etc, and the generation of offers and employment contracts. Using advanced search options they can quickly identify appropriate jobs, and can apply using the online application forms, designed to be easy to follow and straight forward to complete. Internal candidates can use the same process and the inbuilt talent management system can store skills and assessment data for existing staff, including at-risk employees, in a number of talent pools. The key to accountability is accurate reporting at all stages of the process. Recruit contains flexible and dynamic reporting functions that provide operational information to support management of the process, while the customisable Key Process Indicator (KPI) module allows you to define those performance indicators that drive constant improvement. Relevant staff can be selected and linked to any vacancy process, with redeployees given priority to reduce loss of skills and experience. The last part of the jigsaw is an integration module which can support job feeds to other portals (like Jobcentre Plus) and share information with your HR system.

Reference and statutory check requests are generated at the press of a button. Communication can be generated for individual or multiple candidates quickly and effectively. The workflow ensures appropriate levels of governance, without imposing inappropriate delays. Sifting and selection of applications can commence as soon as applications arrive, and processes can be run in parallel mode supporting a team approach. Improve the quality of your applicants A great responsive website will attract more applicants, and today that means supporting mobile devices. Increased applicant numbers leads to a wider candidate choice. Better candidate communication will improve applicant experience and retention. Auto-scoring and killer questions can filter out unsuitable applications. With more information available to work with, the sort and selection process can be more finely tuned Reduce Administration Costs The simple set up of pages and straight forward processes reduce the need for dedicated recruitment administrators. Job and application information is immediately available in one place. Online application forms mean that the information is already available to the system. No data rekeying is required, so ensuring a corresponding reduction in error rate. Electronic correspondence reduces print and postage cost. Additional documents can be attached electronically removing the need for printed versions.
5 Better use of existing talent With the talent management system you are able to include any combination of existing staff, at risk staff, new and past applicants, and even temporary staff. Make use of past applicants where you have already reviewed their suitability You can keep the skills and experience you have, as you can search by skills, behaviours and assessment ratings through the talent management system. And critically, Recruit is really easy to use! In Recruit you can set up the dashboard to show the information you need to carry out your role. You can see what you want when you want it, with no information overload. Adding jobs is easy. There is no product jargon needing translation, all complimentary items are grouped together with the workflow visually prompting you at all times. You are signposted all the way.

Whereas we do have some on premise clients, most Recruit users take advantage of our cloud-based platform.
