1 National Awarding Committee (NAC) for EuroPsy in [Name of country]: Overview Introduction Each NAC is requested by the EAC to complete the following overview and submit this to the EFPA Office in Brussels by February each year. The completed forms will be placed on the EuroPsy webpage ( and should also be placed on the national EuroPsy website. The answers on the form should be in line with the application of the NAC as approved by the EAC. Some items can be completed by providing a check mark or a brief answer (e.g., filling in a date, name, number or address). With other items further descriptive information is required from all NACs. There are also items which some NACs can answer by providing a tick while for other NACs there is a need to supply descriptive information. Further clarification will be needed whenever there is not a uniform arrangement for all fields of practice in a country. Each item has a number and you are asked to provide descriptive information in an Appendix of which the number corresponds with the number of the item. 6 Appendix 1 Recognition of university education programmes as meeting EuroPsy requirements The university education programs are assessed by Russian al-methodological Council together with the Russian Psychological Society. Each year the monitoring of the programs is carried out. Basing on the results of the monitoring each university gets a feedback as well as possibility to strengthen educational programs in cooperation with Russian Psychological Society. Appendix 2 Structure of accredited / recognized education programmes Since year 2013 the education of psychologists in Russia is oriented towards 6 years of formal education (5 years of study + 1 year of supervision) which is called education of the full cycle or mono-training. During the first 3-4 years of studies, students are given a broad orientation in the main sub-disciplines and theories of psychology. The main forms of teaching are lectures, seminars, and practical sessions. Besides, there is a considerable component of "general education", which includes teaching subjects (philosophy, history, sociology, economics, foreign languages, biology, anthropology, etc), which is an obligatory part of any accredited educational program in Russia and whose content is defined partly on federal, and partly on provincial level. The last 2-3 years of studies are devoted to developing expertise in a selected sub-field of with special courses and special practical work being the main forms of teaching. This model is presented in most universities. Appendix 3. Supervised practice arrangements Supervised practice is organized either in the frame of the universities (for example, Moscow State University and Saint-Petersburg University organize 1 year of supervision during the mono-training or during PhD program) or in the frame of the special educational programs which are presented by universities and institutes.
