2 THE UNIVERSITY Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is oldest and the biggest public University, founded in 1949 At the moment, the University represents a functional community of 23 faculties, 5 research institutes and 11 accompanying members.

Cyril and Methodius University through numbers o Around active domestic students as well as over 700 foreign students o Over teaching, research and associate academic staff at the faculties and at the institutes; o Graduates over graduated (Bachelor degree); over 5,300 candidates obtained MSc degree; over 2,800 PhD degrees in all scientific fields.

7 The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering o One of the largest faculties o FCSE is the result of the unification of the two largest institutions in the area of informatics and computer technologies in Macedonia The Institute of Informatics (II) at Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and The Institute of Computer Engineering and Informatics at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (ICEI).
