1 LH and GH/GL Series UNIT COOLERS Technical Bulletin: LHGH_001_07101 Products that provide lasting solutions.
2 LH Series Unit Coolers Dual Discharge Low Hite Series At 9 1/ maximum height, the LH Series is perfect for low clearance walk-in applications in convenience stores, restaurants, food service or wherever more useable storage space is needed in DRY spaces -0 F and up. Standard Features n Compact design with flush ceiling mount takes up less space, allows more product to be stored on the shelf. n EC motors are standard for 11/1 and 0/1. n Two-way air discharge provides smooth air movement, keeps product fresh longer with less drying and weight loss. n High efficiency coil with staggered copper tubes for optimum heat transfer and proper system balance. n These coils can be used for fluid and CO circuiting. n All controls are factory wired to a terminal strip for easy installation. Optional Features and Accessories n PSC fan motors. n TEV (Thermostatic Expansion Valve) shipped loose or factory mounted. n LLSV (Liquid Line Solenoid Valve) loose. n SLHX (Suction Liquid Heat Exchanger) loose. n Defrost Time Clock (loose). Defrost Methods n Air or Off-Cycle for rooms above + F. n Electric for rooms -0 F and above. Specify When Ordering All Models n Complete model number. n Refrigerant R, R0A, or R07. n Room temperature. n Optional features. n Saturated suction temperature. n Optional accessories. 4 GH/GL Series Unit Coolers Standard Features Ideal for medium temperature low air circulation applications in spaces above +0 F. Standard Features n Ten inch diameter aluminum fans, direct driven at 10 RPM, blow air uniformly through twin coils creating a low velocity umbrella air distribution. n EC motors are standard for 11/1 and 0/1. n Low and high silhouette models may be installed level and tight to ceiling. Hanger rods and TEV are internal resulting in a clean appearance. n High efficiency coils, four rows deep with /8 diameter staggered copper tubes are mechanically expanded into corrugated aluminum fins spaced by tube collars. Direct expansion circuiting for halocarbon refrigerants is standard. n Serviceable, textured aluminum housing features hinged orifice drain pan, pitched to drain condensate at end of unit. n Low sound levels range from decibels generated by one fan units to 0 decibels for six fan units, as measured on the A scale, six feet horizontally from the center of the unit. n These coils can be used for fluid and CO circuiting. n Capacity ratings are sensible heat removal with externally equalized TEV fed medium frosted coil. Fan motor heat is not included in rating. Add 8 BTUH per fan to room load. Derate 1% for 0 HERTZ (BTUH x.088) or increase TD to compensate for lower fan RPM. Optional Features n Insulated drain pan construction. n Copper fins or vinyl coated aluminum fins. n Epoxy coating of entire tube and fin surface. n Coils circuited for water or glycol fluids. n PSC fan motors. Model Key Optional Accessories n TEV (Thermostatic Expansion Valve) shipped loose or factory mounted. n LLSV (Liquid Line Solenoid Valve) loose. n SLHX (Suction Liquid Heat Exchanger) loose. n Defrost Time Clock shipped loose. n Washable Air Inlet Filters (Air Defrost only). Defrost Methods n AIR or OFF-CYCLE for rooms above + F. n ELECTRIC for rooms +0 F and above (coil only not available with vinyl coated fins or epoxy coated coil) n GAS (KG- pipe) or (HG- pipe) for rooms above + F. n GAS (KGE or HGE) with electric drain pan booster heat for rooms +0 to + F. Specify When Ordering All Models n Complete model number. n Refrigerant R, R0A, or R07. n Room temperature. n Optional features. n Saturated suction temperature. n Optional accessories.
