These awards were used to acquire forensics hardware and software, instructor training, and workshop scholarships for area first responders. Negotiated articulation agreement with the University of Maryland, University College to provide a smooth transition for our forensics and cybersecurity students to the UMUC four-year online cybersecurity degree program. UMUC will provide in-state tuition, accept up to 70 of our hours in transfer, and award an automatic $3500/year scholarship for our students who earn a 3.0 GPA or above.
5 Created a new ten-course certificate in Computer Forensics and secured approval from the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board for it to be the only completely online Computer Forensics program in the state. Chaired search committees for 3 new full-time instructors Worked with the Director of the Southern Regional Education Board, Electronic Campus, and the ADHE Coordinator for Academic Programs to place online courses from RMCC s Computer Systems Technology and Business Departments on the schedule.
