2 FLORIDA LAWYERS NETWORK MIAMI CHAPTER EST. SEPTEMBER 2011 The Florida yers Network is a statewide network of highly-skilled and wellqualified lawyers in each area of practice throughout Florida. Each member must have at least 5 years of experience as a Florida yer, and must be well-versed and knowledgeable in his or her designated areas of practice. Only 3 Attorneys in each area of practice are selected for membership in each Chapter, and qualified candidates that are dedicated and committed to building and developing connections are encouraged to inquire about membership opportunities. FLN - MEMBERSHIP GRID MIAMI CHAPTER The FLN Membership grid has been designed and created to help you find and locate other FLN members throughout the entire network. For FLN Legal Members only 3 Active Networking Members shall be listed in each Chapter in each area of practice. The FLN Membership grid also allows us to identify areas of practice in each Chapter that are currently available to be filled by other qualified candidates. FLN - Active Networking Members Active Networking Members are defined as those FLN Members that routinely and consistently attend Monthly Chapters Meetings. Active Members are listed and published on the FLN Membership Grid based on their area of practice in their designated Chapter. 2

13 FLN - Miami Chapter Members FLN Members that are current with their membership obligations, but have not been able to attend a Monthly Chapter Meeting in the last 90 days shall be reclassified and listed as Chapter Members. Chapter Members are still be eligible to enjoy the benefits of membership, but shall not be published on the FLN Membership Grid to give other qualified candidates an opportunity to fill open areas. Providing that space is available, Chapter Members can always re-petition to become an Active Networking Member, by making a commitment to regularly attend and participate in the Monthly Chapter meetings. FLN - MEMBERSHIP COMMITMENT: Members that are selected to become part of the network are committed to the success and integrity of the network. Members of the network are committed to the following: Attending regularly to socialize, communicate and network with other members. Providing value and benefit to the members of the network on a routine, consistent and perpetual basis. Maintain a policy consistent with the Florida Bar guidelines on co-counseling legal matters with other attorneys in the network Remain in good standing with the Florida Bar at all times Provide great services to your clients at all times, and keep members of the network properly informed about the status of case referrals Follow up and pursue great business opportunities that are referred to you by other FLN Members. Follow up and connect with introductions that are made to you from other FLN Members. 13
