7 Global portfolio naming We ve renamed our portfolio and product names as of the 6 th of September 2011 The rationale The basic principles To make our portfolio easier for our customers and sales force to understand To make it easy for customers to understand the depth and breadth of our services with clear linkages between the headline portfolio areas To set us apart from the competition To be famous for our focus products For each area of the BTGS portfolio (Network Services, Unified Communications, CRM, Security, and Data Centre Services) there will be a new Product Family Name Each Product Family Name will be accompanied by, and always appear with, a Campaign Line. The Campaign Line is designed to give context to the Product Family Name The products that sit within a Product Family will be renamed so that the Product Family Name is always included in the product name. This will provide a clear linkage between a Product Family and the products that sit with in that family
