7 Global portfolio naming We ve renamed our portfolio and product names as of the 6 th of September 2011 The rationale The basic principles To make our portfolio easier for our customers and sales force to understand To make it easy for customers to understand the depth and breadth of our services with clear linkages between the headline portfolio areas To set us apart from the competition To be famous for our focus products For each area of the BTGS portfolio (Network Services, Unified Communications, CRM, Security, and Data Centre Services) there will be a new Product Family Name Each Product Family Name will be accompanied by, and always appear with, a Campaign Line. The Campaign Line is designed to give context to the Product Family Name The products that sit within a Product Family will be renamed so that the Product Family Name is always included in the product name. This will provide a clear linkage between a Product Family and the products that sit with in that family

22 The official communications service provider for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games BT One Cloud in action BT One Cloud has been adopted as the voice communications platform for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Connecting more than sixty London 2012 locations, it has already proved highly successful Five thousand Hosted IP Telephony connections were planned and rolled out on schedule With ordering, configuration, and delivery processes already tested 2,500 times, systems have proven to be seamless and bug-free In spring 2011, London 2012 Hosted IP Telephony capacity was scaled to 20, providing a 25 per cent cushion should demand exceed expected levels
