1 ASMODEE SPIRIT 1. Introduction Asmodee is the demon of lust and is therefore responsible for twisting people's sexual desires. This spirit s focus is to pervert sexuality and bring division, destruction and death to Godly relationships. Immorality has obtained acceptance in today s society. Explicit pictures, movies, entertainment and the thriving sex trade have all contributed toward the explosion of sexual immorality. It is time for Christians to realize that there is a satanic power that is the driving force behind sexual immorality and that it can be fought and overcome through spiritual warfare. Today our children are exposed to sexuality at a very young age and are often challenged or forced to deal with sexual issues or acts. The way the spirit of Asmodee operates is to fill young people with uncontrollable lust, forcing them into sins like pornography, masturbation, fornication and harlotry. While in the Godly marriage, Asmodee would be the main cause for adultery and frigidity. Asmodee is a powerful spirit and its effects on a life can be devastating. It tries to bring division between husbands and wives because it knows that if it breaks up the unity between a husband and a wife, the whole family will suffer and will experience attack on their relationships with God. This spirit is very good at getting people to confuse love with lust. Once Asmodee gets you to believe his lie, picturing lust as love, you are trapped and will fall into sexual immorality. In your mind you will see the love as good and it will become extremely difficult to recognize or admit that you are sinning. The lies it will tell you in your mind would sound something like this: How can something so good be wrong? Does it sound familiar? If it does, we have good news for you. Although your life may be falling apart or you may be trying to cover up so many lies, running from one secret liaison to another, God can, and will, set you free if you repent, turn away from this sin and go through deliverance. Sexual sin is like a powerful addiction. The more you saturate yourself with it, the more used to it your body, soul and spirit becomes and the easier it becomes to go from one relationship to another and from one sexual encounter to another. Your tolerance increases and you will find yourself committing acts you never thought you would ever have a part in. The spirit of Asmodee will not stop until it has taken your life -- both

2 physically and spiritually. Again I want to encourage you, if you are at a place where you know that you cannot carry on like this; a place where the Spirit of God is convicting you, pleading with you to stop, simply do it! Repent and turn away from this sin. Deliverance is a real lifesaver where sexual immorality is concerned. You can experience instant deliverance from the work of this spirit. Yes, it is going to be quite a battle to resist the spiritual temptation and to stay free, but it is worth it. Instead of living a lie, you can be experiencing the fullness of God s love. You can have Him restore your purity and you can enjoy restoration in your Godly relationships such as you have never dreamed possible. Jesus never condemned the sinner but the sin. He will accept you back, forgive you, wash you clean, restore your purity and help you to grow in love and not lust. An example of Jesus love for those who had fallen in sexual immorality is clearly seen in John 8:10-11 where Jesus speaks to a woman who was caught in adultery. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." All the other people were willing to condemn this woman, but once they were confronted with their own sin, they realized that they were not in a place where they could pass judgment on others. The attitude of the deliverance minister should be the same. If you go for deliverance you should be met with God s love and acceptance and not any form of condemnation. The sin will be condemned but the sinner will be treated with the love of the Lord, who died for them while they were still in their sinful state. Asmodee also brings people to a place of sexual confusion. It works closely with a demon called Lesbos to make a person experience lust for members of their own gender. Homosexuality and Lesbianism is clearly condemned as an abominable sin in the eyes of God. There should be no compromise on this issue by church leadership or fellow Christians. The sin is to be condemned, not the sinner. The Bible says the following in Romans 1:32 concerning homosexuality and lesbianism, who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. This shows us that we have to take a stand against these things found detestable by God. If we don t, the same penalty of death will come upon us, just as it will come upon those who practice this sin. Along with this, the Bible also says that we are not to condemn the sinner because we are all guilty of sin. Homosexuality is a very strong bondage on a person, but our God is stronger. I have seen people set free from this sin and being restored to walking a path of righteousness before God. If the Spirit of the Lord has convicted you of this sin, we have great hope for you. God is the ultimate judge and judgment belongs only to Him. He is quick to forgive when you repent from your heart. He will help you to overcome these demons that operate in your life. You will have to renew your mind and avoid the places and people you have committed these sins with and you will have to stand against these demons when they try and enter into you again. However, you have to realize that you chose to get yourself into this mess and it s going to take some effort on your part to walk in victory in this area of your life.

3 Sexual sin is the only sin mentioned in the Bible that is called a sin against your own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. This is what distinguishes sexual sin from other sins. Soul-ties are formed with those who commit sexual immorality with you. These soul-ties are used as travel ways between the people involved. What happens in the spiritual realm is that the demons between the two people, travel between them at will. Demons usually need an open door to enter and sexual intercourse or lustful desires give them an open door. These soul-ties may have to be severed between the people who have been sexually involved. If not, the demons will keep on moving between the two people, causing them to be drawn to each other and creating an inability to break the relationship. God created intimacy and intercourse inside the marriage to be a shadow of the unity we will be enjoying with Him when we become His bride. It was created to be enjoyed as a fore shadow of the glory and wonder we will experience with the Lord. Satan has really put his fangs into this area of life. Have you ever thought that sex could be holy, wonderful and a great blessing? If not, then Satan has successfully robbed you! This is something wonderful and worthwhile pursuing. I urge you to deal with Asmodee and those operating with him to bring you to a place where you can experience intercourse, the way God intended for you to experience it. 2. Galatians 5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. James 4:2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 2 Peter 1:4 By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 2:10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries

4 Other references Appears in the apocryphal Book of Tobias (Tobit) where a young woman named Sarah prays for death in despair. She lost seven husbands who are killed by Asmodeus, the demon of lust, on their wedding night before the marriage can be consummated. Asmodeus, the demon of lust was Sarah s jealous spiritual lover and killed those who physically entered into marriage with her. God sends the angel Raphael, to free Sarah from the demon and to give direction to Tobit on how to overcome this demon. Asmodee, the demon of lust is also mentioned in the Book of Solomon. Asmodee helped build Solomon s Temple and even took the throne of the King The book of Tobias highlights the value of prayer, fasting, almsgiving and the importance it gives to purity of marriage In the Talmud, Asmodee, the demon of lust had his desires turn upon Solomon's wives and Bath-sheba. He has also been recorded as the off-spring of the union between Adam and the angel of prostitution King Solomon invokes Asmodeus to aid in the construction of the Temple in the Book of Solomon. The demon predicts Solomon's kingdom will one day be divided (Testament of Solomon 5:4-5). King Solomon interrogates Asmodeus further and learns that Asmodeus is overcome by the angel Raphael

If you have a high score on any of the issues listed above, simply ask God for forgiveness and refrain from committing this sin again. If your score is between 3 and 5: Satan and his demons have successfully attacked you in this area. You need deliverance and will need to follow the steps discussed in the section The Road to Victory.

10 9. Road to Victory Identification of the spirit Identify the work of this spirit in your life by completing the Identifying Questionnaire. Forgiveness Make a list of the names of those people you need to forgive, including yourself, your parents and ancestors. Forgive those who have sinned against you and release them. Ask God to forgive you, as you forgave those who sinned against you. Repentance for sins Repent for harboring an Asmodee spirit and for allowing it to operate in your area of authority and responsibility. Example of a prayer of repentance is: Lord please forgive my ancestors and I, in the Name of Jesus Christ, for allowing the Asmodee spirit to operate through us. Repent for the sins caused by an Asmodee spirit. 11 Idolatry Rebellion Pride Death Incubi Succubus Sever ungodly soul-ties and ungodly spiritual contracts Identify all soul-ties that have developed due to ungodly sexual relationships. Cut each of these soul-ties individually and declare them null and void. Declare that the demons that used these soul-ties to transfer from person to person will have no more rights to do this. Seal these soul-ties with the anointing of the Holy Spirit and / or the blood of Jesus Make the following declaration: In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare a divorce with the spirit of Asmodee I tear up any contracts and revoke any rights my ancestors or I gave this spirit in our lives and declare them nullified I declare that I take all rights back in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh Deal with curses, rituals and altars Ask the Lord to lift any curses that He has said will come upon you because of these sins. For example: Father, in Jesus Name I ask that You will remove the following curses and fruits in my life as a result of my ancestors' and my own involvement with the Asmodee spirit's: Curse of death Curse of illegitimacy Curse of infertility Curse of slavery Curse of homosexuality and lesbianism Curse of divorce Curse of female domination Curse of male domination Curse of loss of children Loss of marriage partner Curse of disasters Loneliness and desolation Curse of witchcraft Curse of persecution I pray that You will change each one of these curses into blessings in the life of my family Ask God to forgive your ancestors and yourself for Participating in sexual immoral deeds and rituals

12 Cancel all rituals that have been performed against you and your family in the name of Jesus. Seek God s face and ask Him if there are any specific counter / prophetic actions He wants you to perform regarding these rituals Pronounce destruction over the altars of the spirit of Asmodee in your life, and declare that you are a temple of the living God and that He alone reigns as King in your life Ask the Lord to remove all leaven that caused you to walk under the control of this spirit, from your habits of thinking, your will, emotions and your body Bind and cast the demons out Bind the principality. Then bind the power. Suggested wording: I bind you (name of power) in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh. If you have identified these sins as bloodline sins, address it as follows: I bind you (name of power) in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh in the fourth, third, second and in this generation. I speak death over your roots, branches and fruits in the life of (name of the person being delivered). Command the demon to leave and continue to do so until it leaves. This is where you have to operate in Godly discernment. Ask the Lord to help you discern when the demon has left. From experience, we have learned that the following will help you in your warfare: Remind the demon that you are standing in the authority of Jesus Christ and that the demon is actually facing Christ and not you Remind the demon of the victory that we have through the blood of Christ that flowed on the cross Remind the demon that all his rights have been taken away Remind the demon that the person being delivered does not want it to reside in them anymore. You may even request the person going through deliverance to say the words out loud: (Name of power), I don t want you inside of me. Leave me in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh Quote scripture, as the Spirit of the Lord leads you. Examples of scriptures to quote: Deuteronomy 32:30 one chases a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight Matthew 16:19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Matthew 28:18 "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

13 Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Sing worship songs or praise the Lord Pray with understanding and pray in tongues Perform any prophetic actions that God gives you, for example: Thrusting with the Sword of the Spirit Walking around the person Placing your hand on the person, as the Lord leads you. Always keeping in mind the dignity of the person and what is proper and acceptable Removing yokes and false mantles or bondages, as the Lord leads you When the demon has left the person s body, thank the Lord and ask Him to command his angels to take it to where the Lord requires it next Bind and cast out only those demons in the following list that you identify as having assisted this demonic power in its work within the person being ministered to. (Following the same steps as used to cast out the power). In addition, bind and cast out all the demons listed as Common Accomplices Lastly, bind and cast the following principalities out: Abaddon, Belial Restoration and healing Invite the Lord Jesus Christ to take His rightful place on the throne of your heart This is a good time to pray for infilling of the Holy Spirit. Ask the Lord to fill you with the Spirit of adoption into the Body of Christ This is also the right time to pray for any physical and emotional healing that is required. We use olive oil as a symbol of the Holy Spirit and we lay our hands on the sick and pray for healing in the name of Jesus Christ, who came in the flesh Identify the fruits of the Spirit that counteract the sins you were involved in and set your mind on growing in these areas Ask the Lord to help you to renew your mind and to bring you to a place of obedience where you will find scriptures and apply it when you find yourself under spiritual attack. Renew your mind by consciously deciding against sinning. Gather scriptures that counteract the particular sins that plagued you and quote them in times of temptation until the urge to fall into sin flees from you

14 Revoke and take back all rights Satan has to control your life, will, mind, emotions and body and submit them to the Lord Counteract the fruits of the spirit of lust by praying and spending time in God s presence, and by exercising self-control Find out who you are in Christ by identifying verses in the Bible. Memorize some of these verses and quote them when you find yourself under spiritual attack Quit looking at your own inabilities and failures and walk in God s abilities and righteousness Expect spiritual opposition and that the spirits that left will try to return -- be alert and aware. Satan will try and attack you with self-centeredness and compromise. Counteract these attacks by consciously dying to your own will and submitting to what God wants in every area of your life Do not waste time under condemnation Pick up the sword of the Spirit and war against the powers, principalities and their fruits in your life! Equipping and Aftercare Share with the person the keys to retain their deliverance, as shared in this book. In fact, it would be excellent for this person to have a copy of this book and to read it cover to cover. This will ensure that they obtain much needed knowledge and will not perish for a lack thereof (Hosea 4:6) Please keep in mind, and share with the person, that they will be tired after deliverance. They might also continue experiencing minor manifestations for the next couple of days. This is normal and they need to press into the presence of the Lord and rest in Him during this time. This is why it is called warfare -- a spiritual battle has taken place and all those involved will feel the effects on their physical bodies Scriptures to help you overcome: Galatians 5:24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
