5 Education Dubiski Career High School Grand Prairie ISD Grand Prairie, Texas This career and technology high school offers specific career track programs in a non-traditional setting for students. Recognized with a prestigious design award in 2009, the 250,000 sf facility sits on a 22-acre site with a look and feel of a corporate campus rather than a conventional high school.

6 Planning Tessera on Lake Travis Lago Vista, Texas Master land planning for a new 900 acre development along the north shore of Lake Travis. Developed by Hines, Tessera is unique in that development will occur around the designed parkland. While typical residential developments place an emphasis on maximizing lot counts; Tessera is about sustainability and living in a park which offers a greenbelt trail access at every home site. Services represented include land planning and platting for the first phase of residential development and conceptual planning for town center commercial parcels, overall parkland and trail systems. Studies and exhibits needed for permitting and marketing have included phased delivery exhibits, traffic count analysis, enhanced right of way drainage and homesite lot layouts. Current construction is ongoing on the lake front amenity center, trails and model homes. Future phases will include additional parks, trails, and town town center development.

7 Roadway Earl Campbell Parkway Tyler, Texas In honor of the city s famous resident, Earl Campbell Parkway extends 1.8-miles to connect Loop 323 and State Hwy 155. With four traffic lanes, two bike lanes, raised landscape median and sidewalks, this project is set for completion in September 2012 and will showcase Tyler s designation as America s Rose Capital and support the Mayor s Tree Tyler Initiative. The success of this project along with 1.4-miles of lateral road would not have been possible without close coordination with governing agencies and the public input meetings to present the project and respond to questions from affected residents and business owners.

8 Economic Development Synergy Park at Elder Lake Kilgore, Texas Since 2002, ADAMS has worked with the Kilgore EDC designing the area s premier industrial/business park. Situated on 512 acres and encompassing a 10-acre lake, the site includes a trail system, fishing pier and pavilion. In addition, site development for six industrial facilities ranging from 30,000 sf to 500,000 sf has been completed. Synergy Park is considered by many to be the template for industrial/business parks, and was awarded the Community Economic Development award for Community of the Year by the Texas Economic Development Council.

9 Residential Estates of Lyndhurst Keller, Texas A primary consideration to the development of this site was the preservation of a natural creek and existing trees within the topographical characteristics. As a result with extreme value back to the residents, 26% of the property was identified as private open space or public parkland. Acreage along the natural creek with a walking path will be maintained by the homeowners association with greenspace for recreation and park opportunities dedicated to the City of Keller as Milestone Park. As a luxury gated residential community, The Estates of Lyndhurst contains 56 villa lots with 13 estate lots.

10 Restaurant McDonald s Multiple Locations, Southern US Over the past 13 years ADAMS has prepared site development for new construction and renovations for McDonald s corporate and franchise restaurants to an average of sites annually. But few are like this unique rebuild site, located in Irving s downtown Heritage Crossing District. As the largest store in this region at 7,800 s.f., it is a catalyst for rejuvenation efforts in that area. Featured with a sustainable theme and the preservation of existing trees, large outdoor patio seating, extensive indigenous plantings supported with an underground rainwater storage tank, this store fits the urban lifestyle of the historic area.

11 Retail Murphy Marketplace Murphy, Texas This 76-acre upscale shopping center, developed by Langford Property Company, sits at the corner of the City s two major arterial corridors. This energetic, new mixed-use development has introduced broad new commerical growth to this expanding community. As part of this design, ADAMS was able to meet the diverse functional needs of many separate tenants such as lowes home improvement and sprouts farmers market. At the same time, ADAMS was able to maintain a synergistic approach to the function and aesthetics of this project, in order to make it an attractive and successful lifestyle center.

12 Stadium Lumpkins Stadium Waxahachie, Texas This main focus was to create a pedestrian friendly front by surgically routing the sidewalk, driveways and parking lots in such a way that they function harmoniously while aiding in wayfinding. Located on a 41 acre lot, this stadium was redesigned to include shaded seating, curvilinear pedestrian paths and a complex system of steps and ramps to provide accessibility to the stadium.

13 Worship Northwood Church Keller, Texas As a congregation of more than 2,000 members, growth is exciting. And to continue the work of the church, facilities must grow as well. Located on a 45-acre campus, a new sanctuary with additional office space and classrooms were constructed with anticipation of immediate growth. In addition to the sanctuary, member amenities include outdoor gathering areas and terrace, covered drop-off zones, and associated parking and service areas.
