1 CÉLNYELVI MÉRÉS június 3. Címke 8. évfolyam ANGOL nyelv Általános tudnivalók a feladatokhoz Ez a füzet idegen nyelvi feladatokat tartalmaz. A füzetben az utasítások is idegen nyelven szerepelnek. A feladatsor három részből áll; először 2 hallott szöveg értése, aztán 2 olvasott szöveg értése, végül 2 íráskészség feladatot kell megoldanod. Az egyes részek végét egy Állj! tábla jelöli. Ha ilyenhez érkezel, ne lapozz tovább, amíg a tanár erre fel nem szólít! A korábbi részekhez ne lapozz vissza akkor sem, ha esetleg nem végeztél minden feladattal a megadott idő alatt. Az 1. és 2. részben mindegyik feladat tartalmaz egy példát, amit szürkével jelöltünk. Az 1. és 2. részben minden feladathoz tartozik egy táblázat. A meg oldásokat ezekbe a táblázatokba kell beírnod úgy, hogy minden cellába egy betű kerüljön. Ha a helyes válaszban nem vagy biztos, akkor az általad legjobbnak gondolt választ írd be! Figyelmesen olvasd el a feladatok utasításait! Tollal dolgozz, és ügyelj a külalak ra! Ha egy választ javítani szeretnél, húzd át, majd írd mellé vagy fölé a jó megoldást! 4 2. rész Olvasott szöveg értése Test 3 Below you will find the descriptions of books (0 10). Find the title of each book in the list (A M) and put the letters in the grid. There are two titles you will not need. There is an example (0) for you at the beginning. 0. Piper finds a girl amid the wreckage of a caravan. The girl doesn t remember a thing about her life, but the intricate tattoo on her arm is proof that she s from the Dragonfly Territories and that she s protected by the king. Can Piper get the girl home and get his reward? 1. Hugo lives at a train station with his uncle, but one day he suddenly disappears. Hugo is shocked, but he finds a mysterious notebook with some drawings. Using the notebook and his ideas, he builds a machine, which leads to a life-changing adventure. 2. Two stories are interwoven in the book: thirteen-year-old Sal s story of her trip with her grandparents in search of her mother and the story Sal tells about a girl named Phoebe and her mother. As Sal recounts both stories, the reader becomes engrossed in this novel about family, loss and love. 3. The book has numerous, very brief, chapters, in which fourteen-year-old Rosie recounts her discussions with her grandmother while she s cooking. With stories and affection, her grandmother helps her to understand why she and her best friend aren t getting along and how important friendship is. 4. Part of growing up is beginning to see your parents, brothers and sisters as individuals in their own right, as Leo discovers when he finds a diary written by his father when he was 13. Reading the diary, he becomes involved in a mystery and gains insight about his family and his feelings. 5. The book describes the impact of hurricanes. It also discusses the making of a hurricane, the naming of hurricanes, the widespread damage caused by high winds, and what scientists think about future hurricanes. The book includes a lot of color photographs, as well as a recommended reading list. 6. Twins Gus and Leo and their little sister, Ila, live a quiet life until their mother falls ill because she is protecting them from a terrible evil. Soon the children are swept off to a secret place far in the sea, where they discover a hidden grandmother and powers they never knew they had. 7. Alice-Miranda is set for a luxurious cruise aboard the royal yacht Octavia, where Aunty Gee is hosting the wedding of Aunt Charlotte and Lawrence Ridley. But Alice-Miranda has strange feelings. 6 Test 4 There are ten gaps (0 10) in the text below. Find the missing parts in the list (A M) and put the letters in the grid. There are two parts you will not need. There is an example (0) for you at the beginning. One Man s Goal: To Travel Around the World Erden Eruç has been rowing across the Pacific Ocean in a 7-meter boat (about the length of three mini-vans) since he left California on July 10, He has been heading for Australia with 0 for company ever since. But crossing the Pacific is only 1. Eruç has decided to go all the way around the world using only his own energy. Oh, and his plan includes climbing the tallest peak on six of the continents along the way, in memory of a fellow climber. Eruç will row, bike, walk, and climb the world 2 from any motors at all. For the first part of his trip, he bicycled 8925 kilometers from Seattle, Washington to Mount McKinley in Alaska and back, walked 108 kilometers to base camp, and climbed 6194 meters to McKinley s peak. Now in the 3, he is rowing to Australia. Why would he try to complete a difficult goal like going around the world this way? He explains that he wants to inspire kids to dream their dreams and reach their own goals. He wants to show kids that there might be 4 the way, and sometimes they might not even reach that final goal. But they can have great adventures and learn a lot along the way. As a solo traveler, Eruç has already faced some problems. For example, because he has to row about 10 hours a day, he brought along an MP3 player 5, books, and study Spanish to pass the time. Unfortunately, the nearly daily tropical rain for several months has made him keep his player packed away where it s safe and dry. Fortunately, Eruç has a dry little cabin 6 into when the daily rowing is done. He can use his little palm computer to connect to the Internet by way of a satellite phone. For fun, I do s and phone calls, read, and write in my diary a lot, he says. He s not bothered by the hard work or even being blown the wrong direction. 7 Eruç encourages all kids to set their eyes on a goal and not give up. Like his experience in the Pacific Ocean, he says, it may be difficult, but if you don t try, you don t (or won t) go anywhere: With goals, we will make progress, and we will be farther along than when we started, even if we 10 some goals.
