13 Richard Morgan Partner Litigation Department Direct line: Mobile: Richard was admitted as a solicitor in 1984 and has specialisedin litigation throughout his career. Appointed as Deputy District Judge of the High Court and County Court in 2001, he continues to undertake this role part time at Birmingham Civil Justice Centre (the largest Civil Courtcentre in the UK). He has lectured regularly with the teaching staff of Worcester Law School, in recognition of which he has been appointed an Honorary Fellow of Staffordshire University, and he has broadcast regularly on legal issues with BBC Hereford and Worcester Radio.

14 Katie Lote Associate Solicitor Commercial Department Direct Line: Mobile: Katie previously worked at Evershedsin Birmingham and has experience of all aspects of commercial law. Katie has specific expertise in international trade and logistics, including e-fulfillment and reverse logistics, warehousing and transportation and works with clientswho range from large multinational companies to small and medium enterprises.

15 Robert Cobley Senior Associate Commercial Department Direct line: Mobile: Robert heads the intellectual property and technology team within the commercial department. Robert has a background in IT, having worked for a software house prior to qualifying as a solicitor. He works for a wide range of clients, advising on IT, intellectual property and general commercial contracts. Robert s specialist practice includes all aspects of IT law and intellectual property, including IP commercialisation, protection and enforcement.

He previously worked at DLA Piper in Birmingham and has over 12 years experience of all aspects of private company corporate transactions, with specific expertise on private equity deals acting either for mid-market venture capitalists or management teams. Richard also has strong experience of international corporate transactions, having done M&A deals involving European, Chinese,Indian and American businesses.
