2 Development of the Thailand Nursing Honor Society at-large Establishment On November 11th, 2010, Thai nurses met with Professor Dr. Karen H. Morin, STTI President and Dr. K. Joanne McGlown, Director of Global Business Development at STTI, to consult for the Thailand at- Large chapter establishment, the Thailand Nursing Honor Society at-large establishment steering committees were appointed. These committees consisted of the TNMC President (Prof. Dr. Wichit Srisuphan) as the consultant, nurse scholars, Chair of the nursing Dean Consortium, several nursing school deans of the country as committee members.

7 Dr.Joanne McGlown, the Global Business Development Director of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing visit Thailand and meet with Thailand Nursing Honor Society at Large to discuss on the development to become a new STTI Thailand chapter. The meeting was held on Thursday, February 21st, 2013 at The Emerald Hotel Bangkok.
8 Dr. Mcglown and Dr. Wipada presented the honor society information and the transition to become an Thailand at-large Chapter in the 16th EAFONS meeting between February 21-22, 2013 at the Emerald Hotel, Bangkok
9 Development of the Thailand Nursing Honor Society at-large On April 7, 2011, the Steering Committee met again and agreed to launch the Thailand Nursing Honor Society at-large with support from the TNMC at the beginning. The first induction was held on May 25th, Once the Thailand Nursing Honor Society at-large continues to host scholarly activities and maintains members for one year, the honor society will apply to become a Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, Thailand Chapter at- Large. The honor society members were then invited to become members of STTI.

On December 11,2014. They expressed gratitude for the royal graciousness of the King, the Queen and every member of the royal family.

34 Criteria for membership selection of the Thailand Nursing Honor Society at-large Members are nominated from nursing education institution in Thailand based on the following criteria: 1. Undergraduate Students must 1.1 studying in the 4th years in the nursing institution approved by the Thailand midwifery and nursing council and achieve academic excellence (at schools where a 4.0 grade point average system is used, this equates to a 3.5 or higher); 1.2 meet the expectation of academic integrity 2. Graduate students must 2.1 studying in the master or PhD program in nursing in the nursing institution approved by the Thailand midwifery and nursing council, have completed more than ½ of the nursing curriculum and achieve academic excellence (at schools where a 4.0 grade point average system is used, this equates to a 3.75 or higher); 2.2. meet the expectation of academic integrity 3. Nurse Leader Candidates must 3.1 be legally recognized to practice nursing in his/her country; 3.2 have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree or the equivalent in any field; 3.3 demonstrate achievement in nursing professionals 3.4 meet the expectation of the professional integrity
